Do you actually remember the constraints he was working under? His remit was to get the club out of the financial trouble it was in, and he did a brilliant job. Even selling our best players he kept us in a reasonable position in the 4th Division. Don't speak ill of the dead.
I was trying to be ironic about peoples constant berating of our previous 2 managers, sorry if I failed in doing that.
I couldn't stand the bloke when I was a teenager and thought I knew everything about football. Later, when I was older (but not more mature!), I realised what a difficult job he was being asked to do and, on reflection, appreciated just what a decent job he did for us. I know I know nothing about football.
not sure tha knows owt at all to be honest and tha not a reyt fan an all so theer and nah nah , nah , nah nah
I know not to Claim I'll bare my backside on the town hall steps if a particular transfer transpires, but then fail to hold up my end of the bargain when I'm shown to be wrong AGAIN!
TBH matey I am very good sorts.... We are on a weeks break in a fabulous Barn conversion in the Peak District... How's all with you and yours .
Not bad, mate Laura's just been sorting out with Crystal about coming home for the 'Reading Week' next month. As well as doing her work, she's having to sort out somewhere else to live from next September. They're moving everyone from her current campus in Penrith to one in Ambleside.
One thing I never appreciated at the time was that Jim Iley was a Barnsley fan. His poaching by Blackburn in April 78 is the best timed departure of any manager.
AMBLESIDE ????? really??? then tell her to give this lota shout https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKVGFP93bPg
