Bald as a coot and a right clogger as a footballer - I couldn't have been more different.

Funny story about that game. My mum and dad were watching it, whilst I was busy doing whatever a 2 year old does. Halfway through the game my mum gave me some money and sent me across the road to the shop to get her some fags (!!!!!). Me being the cheeky wee scamp I was promptly turned up back at the house a few minutes later clutching some sweets and a chocolate swiss roll. What do you expect when you send a 2 year old to the shop? Anyway, my mum had to go back to the shop herself to get her fags and give Mr Gill some more money, missing the only goal of the game. Different times the early seventies, but still!

I don't mind at all. My surname is Kemp so the inventive souls I served with christened me Mario Kempes.

I know I am biased but the 70's were fantastic years to be a kid.

My first is the one before that Arsenal 2 Liverpool 1 - Charlie George with a screamer in extra time
It was also the first program I ever saw on a colour TV round at my Uncles

Still remember the game well as I wanted Liverpool to win - more embarrassingly I was happy when Clarke headed home in the Leeds 1 Arsenal 0 game you first saw - I was back to black and white then

Same World Cup. Vs Portugal in the group stages (I think) when Ray Wilkins got sent off. Which in my memory was a thousand times harder to do than it is in today's game.
