Causing a nuisance or not, there is no excuse for the way some of them were man handled.

"Causing an obstruction", "blocking the road" - just from looking at that, and the comment underneath, it would appear it was a footpath.

Why so many police on a legitimate and peaceful protest against fracking? Are people just going to have to sit back and allow the government and their cronies to ruin the countryside for their own financial gain?

Makes you wonder why the people in charge are so pro fracking that they will use any and all means to get it under way including tax breaks, local bribery and use of the police to break up any protests (think back to the miners strike ).

Wonder if there's something in it for them ;)

The death of a honest and fair Police force can be seen by the actions of GMP. This is a clip of just some of the arrests of peaceful protesters by GMP many of whom were charged with "obstruction of the highway", even though Barton Moss Road is actually a public footpath with no right of way for motor vehicles. GMP in an astounding lack of fair policing arrest, harass, assault, and intimidate peaceful protesters in an attempt to help IGAS commit the greatest crime ever attempted in ecological terms. Anne, the oldest person escorted off by GMP in this video is 82!
Fracking if allowed to be carried out in the UK will poison the water and food supply for anyone in the areas allocated for Fracking, 65% of the UK. This selection of unjustified arrests and assault is compiled between the 26th November 2013 and 20th January 2014. Please feel free to download edit and share this video as we are the 99%.

Don't worry pal all those pensioners were fighting your battle for the things that you take for granted and think your entitled to cos you sit and slavver at your TV screen just sit back and criticise.
Met plenty like you mate proper cnuts. Can't help a guilty smile when I see a couple of them struggling who thought it would never happen to them fek em

Obviously my view on this doesn't align with many on here. That's fair enough….. I didn't expect it to. (maybe I should've kept my gob shut and kept to posting on football, which is why we're all here.) But that's life. A lot have disagreed with me, but not dropped to the level of referring to "cnuts like you."

If you have a "guilty smile" when you see anyone struggle (and believe me I do see good, honest people struggle in my profession. Parents, Colleagues, the general community where I work etc.) I would look at my view who is actually the lovely person., mate.

This was purely aimed at people that disrupt others. Nothing more, nothing less. They're entitled to their opinion/protest whatever if they believe they are correct.

I'm back to posting purely about football tomorrow and 3 points against Blackburn and more importantly at the sty. As for you . . . . .

Nope, no complaints from me regarding teachers striking. Poorly paid and treated in my view. Withdrawing your labour is a fundamental right.

Fracking - nowhere near enough peer researched evidence to show that it is safe, that wells wont leak, seep into groundwater etc. etc. It's bad enough in the US which is a very large country, never mind in the UK.

That's exactly why I attacked your post I did not say I smirked at people worse off and struggling as what you are now twisting I stated people that jumped on the Tory bandwagon of sneering at people on benefits and branding them all the same and then suddenly find themselves in that situation, people I know.
I can call on hundreds of posts saying quite the opposite of what you are accusing me of and most on here would verify that.
You stated wrongly that people on the video were climbing trees blocking roads and stopping people going about their buisness when this was not the case these were people that were being affected first hand at what this dash for corperate cash was doing and were demonstrating their law full rights and the police were acting on behalf of the companies.
Now I have supported the teachers and indeed some of your posts on the subject and I attacked your post as you were not as forgiving or their cause as you were expecting and canvassing for on yours as I was seething at the time.
However the c remark was uncalled for and for this I apologise but don't try to twist my posts
