1995 cup final. Man Utd Liverpool. Cantona got the winner. Don't remember anything after that until Euro 96 the following summer. Fell in love with football that year which started with England beating Scotland with that Gazza goal & then finished a year later with us been promoted to the premiership.

That was 96 cup final the 95 final was Everton 1 Man U 0

I know that because the first game I remember is Man U beating Liverpool when cantona scored through a crowd of players.

An Aston Villa match from around 1994. Can't remember who they were playing but they won 3-0.

Ah right! That makes sense then. Wondered why I couldn't remember watching a game between 95 cup final & Euro 96. Cheers

Newcastle V Barnsley in the FA Cup quarters in 98. Went to my grandparents to watch it cos my mum, dad and brother went to the game, not sure why I didn't get an invite mind!! Think I spent the entire game looking for them in the crowd and wondering if they'd be able to see me back if the camera pointed at them.

    1961-62 Fa Cup final - Tottenham 3 Burnley1.
Jimmy Robson scored for Burnley and a few years later he signed for Barnsley. His was the 100th FA Cup Final goal according to the commentator.

Dont you remember the '78 FA cup final? I remember watching it with you and I remember Angela knocking on to see if we were going out. "Oh no we're watching the cup final" was the response. As I recall Dad was at work but came home about half way through the game.

No don't remember it. I was only 6. The WC final stands out in my memory largely because of all the tika tape and colours of the kits. I probably watched some of the earlier games at 78 WC but again they don't stand out in my (admittedly ****) memory.

Think it was an arsenal v luton??? Cup match. 4-1 rings a bell. But what I do remember was lukic caught the ball and then knocked the striker clean off his feet... penalty.

Really digging to remember this. Lukic was only a kid then
