"It's a lot better the more you play, and the more you play in your position which is centre midfield and not out wide - because I don't feel I was offering anything to the team - I feel like I owe him a lot already (Danny) because he's stuck with me and shown a lot of belief in me and hopefully people can see that I'm getting back to some sort of form that I was in last year before my injury."

    Good lad.

Did he really play wide reight cos he were always drifting inside to my memory and we were constantly losing our shape.

He`s reight though square peg in square hole.

He's spot on and if he can get back to his pre-injury form I think we have a very capable player. Danny can see that and can see where his best position is.

Dawson sounds to me, like a player who needs the experienced manager and coach behind him, telling him what he's good at.
Much better than playing him out of position and then fans saying he's sh!te (which he was, when out on right hand side).

To me, DW is doing the simple things correctly ie. playing players in their natural positions, giving them confidence, getting shut of weaker players, bringing in stronger and experienced players.

I must have said a million times over, on this BBS.......football is simple.......DW is proving this......keep it up.

He`s had quite a few poor games centrally and also had at least one good game wide. Its not just balck and white. Same with Mellis.

It beggars belief that Flicker kept playing Dawson out right, especially when not only was he poor there, but he didn't even have confidence in himself there.

Looked good recent games, could very well do a job for us.

He's bang on. Fair enough if Dawson does poor in the centre but he was getting constant stick for not been good enough on the right when the only person who thought he could play that role was Flitcroft.

I can't think of many holding midfielders that would make good wingers

Can imagine an almost identical quote could come from Mellis.

many post on here earlier in the season asking why on earth Dawson was playing out wide when we had wingers who could do it

Thought he was excellent against Blackpool. Danny Wilson has obviously galvanized him.

Its my opinion he got played their because of the crappy dozy ***** that was behind him. Flicker dare not play a flair player too often because our full back got pasted too often

Setting up to just draw games way too frequently.
