The big problem with this fracking thing is Cameron is gonna hand out licenses to companies (no doubt tory sponsors) & people's land & livelihood are going to be ruined. There has been no vote on this, no manifesto pledge. In fact the Cameron claimed they were going to be the greenest government & now they are reversing all their legislation & doing crap like this. We need more people to stand up to him. Shame Millibland hasn't got a backbone either, or Clegg, or his mate Compo... oh he's dead...
Sorry, I forgot that stuff you write down stops making sense after 48 hours. My sincere apologies, although, by the time you read this, the apology will probably have worn off, isn't that how it works?
Sad that Miserableeaststander doesn't want to grant others the same rights he wants (quite correctly) as a teacher.
Not just sad, it's incomprehensible, when peaceful protest is not allowed, next thing to go will be the right to strike. We are seeing a gradual erosion of the democratic rights we have built up in the last two centuries by protest and they are being allowed to be eroded by just such attitudes. It will all end in tears, as it has done in Kiev, thankfully it looks like they will have a positive outcome, by protesting.
To many peaceful protest means "Go stand out of sight over there, don't make any noise and don't get in my way".
