    we were good going forward, but lousy in defence tonight, just on train back to leeds

    having said that they do have an amazing strike force

    we have to stay optimistic ...

    Missed a couple but well like ya said can't complain. Both strikers scored, when was last time that happened?

    Had a decent game. Should have done better with a chance in 1st half mind. Good debut though.

    2nd best player on pitch, O'grady was the first. Can't believe Steele got MOM.
    We was second best, but a point gained.
    P.s......was never a penalty

    Point gained tonight against a very good Blackburn side who particularly in the first half were allowed by our midfield to play through time and time again.

    Hopefully Wilson has a couple of players up his sleeve to bring in because Dawson and Kennedy are stealing a wage at our club. They are consistent every week..........consistently terrible and our weak link. I think these two and O Brien could be getting a taxi soon to Bury or Rochdale.

    Wilsons not daft he will get rid of the dead wood and free up some wages. Soon as Lawrence is match fit he will be starting every week and Dawson can help out before the games selling half time draw tickets.

    What did O'Brien do wrong? In 7 starts he has scored a goal and has 2 assists. He's also had other good passes/shots that unluckily haven't amounted to anything.

    O Beard and Dawson both run around like a Jack Russell chasing a Tesco carrier bag in a gale......plenty of endeavour but no quality at all. Dawsons first touch is a tackle and Kennedy who is just simply clueless, all out of their depth at championship standard and are weak links in the side especially Dawson and Kennedy. Bury and Rochdale is their standard.

    Wilson knows what he's doing the dead wood will be long gone soon.

    He wasn't very good tonight. Caught in possession too often and got ripped to shreds down the right later on.

    All you've done is repeat exactly what you said before, with a bizarre simile chucked in. What about the fact that he has a goal and 2 assists, plus other notable passes/attempts during the matches he has played in?

    Dawson and Jim were two of our best players last time out. In fact, they've been decent pretty much every time Danny has selected them. But yes, let's slate them after one game where in your opinion they weren't as good.

    have to agree with wath. o'brien has proved time and again, that for every good game he has, he's likely to follow it up with 4 rank bad ones. 2 yards behind play all game, caught in possession almost every time and his usual running round aimlessly, chasing the ball.

    dawson was woeful today. as bad as i can remember seeing him. maybe just a bad day at the office, but he might as well have not been on the pitch.

    kennedy just makes my blood boil. i'm sorry but he does. too slow, almost always out of position, incapable of passing a ball forward and breaks our play up better than the opposition does. to$$

    as for proschwitz - good start. debut goal, worked well with cog, not scared to have a shot. should have had another

    luke steele - MOTM :)

    Wasn't one of Jimbo's better games but as ever it was 100% effort and no hiding. The German lad looked impressive for me, always looking to shoot, if anything a bit too eager when he could have passed. Missed a tricky header in the last minute from an O'Grady cross which could have won it for us. Couple of long range shots well wide, couple of further headers off target. Missed a sitter in the first half when I reckon he thought he was offside, good hold up play, quite strong although not the biggest. Great to see 2 strikers even though one of them plays on the left wing. Very enjoyable second half.

    Whitey - In 50 games for BFC how many good ones compared to bad ones has Dawson had

    Dawson plays maybe one good game in 6, the midfield today were woeful.

    Dawsons first touch is a tackle and is out of his depth and has been from the first day he ever pulled a reds shirt on.

    Kennedy again, one good game for every 5 bad ones he has.

    Time for the shepherds hook to get these two off the wage bill, I'd rather see the kids playing than these.

    Here, I'm no fan of Kennedy, but he's not been that bad lately. And that's the first time Jim or Dawson have had an off day for a while isn't it? If they have.

    We've got a point against a good side who are 9th.

    I see little reason to start slating individuals tonight. But then, it's each to their own.
