To be fair we should have the quality upfront to beat even in form keepers. We should rip through Barnsley like Jesus through bread. Typical bloody game where their keeper is man of the match! Can't kill a bloody game off If we draw or lose to the bottom team of the division I think we all can agree it's a woeful result. That said a draw at Barnsley is inexcusable. Why Bowyer went without wingers at the start to accommodate Lowe and Williamson again is beyond me. Sack those 2 off and hope Dabo is decent. The sooner Evans is back the better. rate best get some work done
There were many LOLZ round me when that announcement came over the PA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was furious about all this but then I realised, if the tables were turned we'd probably be saying similar stuff about a draw against bottom of the league no matter who it was
How many times have we discussed this? The match sponsors choose the man of the match. O'Grady received most votes on the clubs poll on that wall thingy. I'd have given it to Paddy.
Another Blackburn view Huge Blackburn fan at work e-mailed me this:- We were well on top in the first half and should probably have capitalised on it and got more than 2 in the bag. Maybe we thought we had as we seemed to come out in the second half and sit back as if we had a massive lead, you can't really do that when you're only 2-1 up! The way we played in the second half was woeful, just like when I saw them on boxing day, no desire to go forward and just really slow passes so whenever there was a good pass to make, by the time we did it your men had spotted it too and it wasn't there anymore. Far too negative. We really backed off to give you your first goal too, bad defending there. Thought the penalty was a bit soft, but it's always a risk in front of the home fans. Dunn was great last night, it was good to see him like that again, although a shame he can't do 90 minutes (not when he's got 3 games in a week anyway). The thing that really made me laugh at the end was that your goalie got man of the match - there were 6 shots on target and he conceded 2 of them and spilled another two, what's that about?!
Re: Another Blackburn view Picked by match sponsor aint it, one of them may have let a young un pick their favourite, who knows its not that serious is it because its very rarely right IMO.
Re: Another Blackburn view I agree and am not having a go at Steele, but my MoM was O`Grady followed closely by Ramage.
