So that's six loanees is it? But with Pedersen and McLaughlin injured, we're okay in terms of the numbers in our matchday 18. I'm impressed with this arrival, so long as the injury he's just recovered from doesn't resurface. I can see one of them playing left back when Ryan returns to full fitness.
Wasn't McLaughlin only here for the month anyway, and with his injury being 4+ weeks he'll have gone back won't he?
Good point. I thought we'd extend it anyway, he's quality and four weeks is nowt really. But if he's gone, then he'll always be remembered as one of the best players we've ever had. Never had a bad game.
My mates a ST holder at Huddy. Says best ever attacking full back he's seen there. Bit suspect defensively and can remember him getting a new ass hole ripped by Zoko and Mcmanaman but bit of a coup all in all. He'd have him back tomoro!
Huddersfield opinions (contains Dreamboy): http://downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/88932/jack-hunt Sounds like a better version of Wiseman.
I've changed my mind, Dreamy, based on this video: He's miles better than Wiseman. Reminds me of Trippier. Some reight crossing ability and a few decent goals at the end. I know youtube can make most players look world class, but I'm confident he'll be as good offensively as McLaughlin was. Be nice if he can defend though. That's been our trouble at right back since Bobby stopped playing there.
Danny said in his post match interview that he was after a quick fix until McLaughlin is fit, but if Hunt is here for the season then I can't see why we will have kept him on.
I thought he was a decent player for Huddersfield. Watching that i'm stunned the kids a right back. Pace, trickery, good shot, some terrific crosses and beating men for fun? If we can get 50% of that while he's on loan he's going to be a heck of an addition.
