I started a thread the other day about areas to improve and it looks like we very likely to add to the major area that needed it to me.

A central midfield's a must for me and with Martin Woods training with the Reds and likely to sign its a really good sign that we are looking strong for the last 20 or so games.

I also thought we needed to add a goalkeeper but I thought he would bring in a loan goalkeeper if Steele got injured as you can do this at pretty much any time. With that I didn't so much about it but i'm really happy to see that hes brought one in as I really don't think Dibbles good enough yet.

I think the only place to strengthen with 30 hours of the window to go would be a Striker, Small type and this would allow the manager to really mix it up and cause problems hopefully to any team.

Well done to the manager, and Ben Mansford.

Totally agree phil, I reckon there will still be 1 or 2 before the window closes, I think Pederson really needs to prove his worth now.

    Do you, Okay.

Not many did in that thread although I'm glad some of them aren't the manager of Barnsley Football Club.

How have I ruined it, I've posted a link to a thread a typed about in the opening a post. Hardly easy to predict from them posts in the other thread because hardly anyone if anyone at all mentions it in the 50 posts.

You can now see the Wilson type team shaping up nicely. Agree about the striker lets see what happens.

People don't like to agree with you, even if they do. You are giving it the big I WAS RIGHT and he hasn't even signed yet. Plus if you listen to the latest interview with Danny, he's looking to strengthen the wings. Woods isn't even central, he's a left sided player.

Dunno what you've proven. It's been as clear as day that we've needed cover for Steele. And Martin Woods is a winger.

    you certainly can.

Think with Woods Lawrence Dawson Digby and I don't like it but I can see reasons to play jim in the middle against a few teams we will have a good solid central packed with a lot of different skill sets and I think all would be okay playing with each other.

If we could improve Jim's short passing he has the energy to make a decent central midfielder

Martin Woods is a central midfield player.

    Look at that.

He came on for Wellens ROVERS – Ross Turnbull; Paul Quinn, Bongani Khumalo, Luke McCullough, Enda Stevens; James Coppinger, Richie Wellens ©, Dean Furman, Mark Duffy; Federico Macheda, Theo Robinson
    Subs used – Martin Woods for Wellens 46 mins; David Cotterill for Coppinger 58 mins; Billy Paynter for Duffy 70 mins;

    Martin Woods.
Just had a look on FM14, central Midfielder Woods Very strong on left foot so hes a left footed central midfielder

Woods is a winger you silly boy. If he plays central, it won't be in a holding/deep role.

But we've Bobby Hassell there. He's played every time under Danny, when fit.

    He's a winger.

    But if FM14 has spoken....

They are talking about him replacing Wellens a few weeks ago. Alot that posted don't seem to think hes very good but if he was to replace wellens then he would be a central midfielder that sits deep and seems to only use is left foot
