The piggies now possibly out of reach when we could have had them in our sight with a win.

The going just seems to get tougher and tougher.

Do we have the fight in the team to get out of this sticky situation?

    Over to you.

Yes we have the fight, saw it in abundance today. We were a crap decision, a bad pass and 20 seconds away from a win today. Fine line.

Where do we go from here?

    League 1.

The attractive prospect of Crawley, Carlisle, Shrewsbury etc . . . Still feel like I've been mugged now…

Hmm suppose where there is life there is hope. Opinions of survival in this league seem to be 50/50 so not all lost yet.

Need to start winning game before it starts to get to be an impossible task.

I was kept up to date at Firhill today by Sparky and between your score and my own teams 1-1 draw with Partick it has made for a right miserable Saturday.

    We both must do better.

i still don't think we're sunk just yet. we have a lot of quality in that squad. but the team has to fire. and not in three or four or more games. they have to fire now. today's defeat was a body blow. obviously we now have suspensions, but i wonder what the response will be like.

Not at all Sloppy as my lot are most certainly NOT Dundee. My team are the World Famous Dundee United. LOL

I know what you are saying mate and the way we are playing at the moment I'm absolutely sure we would struggle big time in the Championship. We have ATM a very young and inexperienced team and we are prone to the occasional bad performance. Unfortunately our bad performances stretch back to before Christmas.
Had you asked that question in October when we were playing really well and scoring at will I would have said yes we would do quite well in your league.
I was down Oakwell v Birmingham and saw a Barnsley side who on that display I'd have bet money that Dundee United would beat easily, but now I'm not so sure.

Ask Biglil on his assessment of Dundee United as he does keep what some might say an unhealthy eye on what is going on a Tannadice.

ahh soz about that, now i realise there are two dundee teams. i did mean your team though, i forgot to put the united bit in :D

you mention the birmingham game, that sort of did us a favour long term because it forced us to get rid of the man who is now taking Bury down to the conference. and i say long term because i think we are going down this time, but i think weve actually got the right man this time in danny wilson.

I hope so too Sloppy. I am hoping to make another visit to watch Yorkshire's finest before the season's end. Hopefully we will have improved a wee bit by that time.
And apologies accepted on you making me out to be a Dundee fan. Please let it not happen again. LOL

nothing against your team of course 'Ian' (is that your real name ?), i just mentioned the teams who i dislike the most.

back to the thread you started anyway, i think its looking more and more impossible now for us to stay up this season.

Yes I am Ian and I take no offence what so ever mate. I like the banter and football chatter.

Obviously I view BFC from afar but I do agree with you the chances of avoiding the drop do seem to get slimmer as each winless week passes. We really must try and put a wee run together fairly quickly or all hope will go as far as league survival is concerned.
