A rounded, informed and mature opinion there red.

Fully reflective of the opinion of the majority of Barnsley fans I'm sure.

Thanks for taking the opportunity to dispel the myth that Barnsley fans are judgemental territorial thugs.

Town full of scrubbers they sang, ironic part is 30% of SWFCs support probably came from the Barnsley area and the other 70% come from S5... A suburb rated in the top ten most deprived areas in the uk.

    ****ing oinkers.

I myself wonder how many of the ''town full of scrubbers'' choir were actually from Barnsley, more than one you'd think eh?

Hemel is AL3 sweetie. I'm Harpenden.

Bossman, we were fortunate to win in my opinion, strange sub by DW with COG going after the Dench red but I though Marriner ruined it.

    Walkley Owl.....fair play to yer.

I personally thought REDS deserved a point today, Marriner was poor for both sides, but (again) REDS suffered.

As much as it smarts, I actually walk away knowing we should have had at least, a point........and, please, any ******* Wednesady idiots, don't even try argue, you've got lucky today.......well done

It also says Harpenden is AL5 - but I do like this post code bingo.

I live in that donny. DN5. Affluent round here. The WMC has had new paint in the car park and there's even talk that we might get the pot holes fixed on the roads. It's also one of the few places in the country you might still see the increasingly rare white dog s hit.

The place I live, Scawthorpe, is up for uk capital of culture next year, alongside Athersley, Parsons Cross and Welwyn Garden City.

I don't think Welwyn has much of a chance though, they don't sell curry sauce in the chippy or let you in the bookies in your slippers so I hear.

Don't get me wrong. Our family don't do bad, me and the mrs both work and the only major debt is the mortgage, but I'm not going to start playing the I've got more money than you and live in a nicer place game. In all fairness a town full of stuck up t wats with their head far enough up their arses to be able to remind themselves what they've had for tea doesn't appeal to me.

Sorry for the sweeping generalisation, it probably ranks as bad as the one most people living south of Birmingham would allocate to places like Barnsley and donny - ie it's rough as ****, no one has a job or wants one and to live there would be a complete nightmare. (I'm in no way suggesting this generalisation has been made here btw, not finger pointing).

Porktalkers can kiss my porksword! That ground is attrocious, the underground bit in the away stand is a hazard waiting to happen. Only 25,000 there for a derby match and outsung by the Barnsley fans... Not so MASSIVE now! Cnuts!

As for the game, what a complete dismal performance from both teams... As I said early Wednesday were the best team, only because they won the ******* game! Had I been a neutral and that game been on Sky I'd av changed the ******* channel after 20 minutes... It was *****!

A lot of football fans are idiots. Fans from Kendray, Lundwood, Athersley, Grimethorpe, Wombwell etc. singing 'Sheffield is a **** hole, I wanna go home'.

Then you get Wednesday fans from rough area's doing the same at Oakwell. That's one chant I never join in with.
