    It's a penalty.

If it's not, it's a yellow card, for diving.

    END

Was the Paul ****er tv commentary lifted from the live radio? If not and he's dubbed on to the pictures that it was a slip, he needs firing.

It's a penalty but if Marriner thinks not, it's a yellow for JM.

Paul ****er is the only person in the stadium to see a slip, convenient bias.

I don't care whether he was falling prior to contact or not. Neither do I care if Llera was pulling away. There was contact. Penalty. End of Fred. :)

    Night, reds.

We'll be reight. I felt proud of us in the main. I'm positive. And tired now.

the more i see it, the more i'm convinced it wasn't a penalty. agree mariner could/should have booked him for simulation, but the fact that he didn't doesn't make it any more of a penalty. mellis' petulant reaction to it cost us badly

Why is everything so black or white? Cos ref says no penalty does not necessarily mean its simulation.

    Well said.

JOB was already falling imo. The contact made no difference to him going down and it wasn't a dive.

I thought it was a penalty at the time and still do. Llera's right leg catches JM's right leg. Penalty. Mariner gave us **** all, how many fouls on Proshwitz did he miss?

I think you're agreeing with me, not sure. Either way, I agree. Don't really have any thoughts on the booking. Other than it would have prevented a straight red and a 3 match ban

I was as gutted as anyone but contact doesn't always mean penalty, a foul does. If he was pulling his leg away and just catches him a tiny bit is that really enough to make him go down? To stop him going through and shooting? Is that a foul in a contact sport? I'm not sure it was and on that basis not the worst decision.

I agree with this lad. From that still Llera's leg is straight up, not out like a foul usually is. Whereas Jacob's let is angled towards Llera's body, therefore IMO looking for the trip.

You just agreed with a Wednesday fan !!!. Can you imagine him agreeing with you if it had happened at the other end ? they get given every week for far less contact !

I didn't know he was a Wednesday fan. However, I still stand by my comment.

Seen them given but imo Mellis is looking for it. Don't like to see players doing that.

I was sat straight in line with mellis' run and yes we've seen them given, usually against us I might add,but it would have been a soft one.
