Well I can't imagine that Danny and Micky are going to go down without a fight. We certainly have the quality in the squad to be doing better. It's going to take hard work and some positivity instilled into the players, but it's not an impossible task. The winning habit needs to start soon though, before it becomes an impossible task. One thing for definite though is that once enough of the fans and the players start thinking we're going down then that's that. Of course we're always going to sell out Oakwell when we have a nice big cup tie, but this is the time when the team needs our support the most. Get today out of our system, start preparing for the next game and lets get behind them. Otherwise we might as well pack it in!
i think its going to be near impossible Gord, but yes your right that were not down yet and we should stick with it as long as possible. get behind them etc.. i only hope though that if we do, the players will react and still give it their all.
TBH Ian at this time, I think you will always get negativity. Losing a derby and in the 96th minute will always get people down. I think we have a good chance of staying up. The fight we showed against Blackburn second half indicates its there. Yesterday was a hard one to take, but I believe we have the players and the manager to get us out of this. On a positive see your lads got a point.
Re: TBH Ian TBH 66 that point we got yesterday was IMO yet another 2 points dropped. Partick were there for the beating but we just could not do it. After starting the game well we let it slip and at the end Partick were certainly the more likely to take the 3 points. BTW I love your optimism and positivity about BFC's prospects in the coming weeks.
I'd love to have a chat, face-to-face, with you, about the game and football in general. If I send you a PM, will you conform, or just carry on posting anonymous sh!te ? This ain't a threat, it's just an offer to constructively converse.........for you, maybe the first time in your life?
Hooked. Pasta he got you. LOL Better to just ignore the maggot. You gave him the reaction he was looking for.
Pasta is easy , I am dropping him off my collection as of now so division 2 , runs all day but no end product .........bless. At least he conforms Sort of makes it so easy.
Upwards, Ian, old mate Upwards. The bitter manner of yesterday's derby defeat can work as a spur for everyone connected with the club for the rest of the season.
We can still stay up. Win our game in hand and we are 1 win from passing Millwall. Still got a great chance. Once all the new players have settled we'll be fine.
Thanks for your input jto66. You certainly bring something to the table with your obvious outstanding knowledge and wit. Can I ask? Does your intellect have no limits?
