his airborn tackle was a disgrace. It smacked of retaliation, and it certainly was no penalty. TingTong should be fined too but not as heavily as Mellis.... I do not think his was as intentional. There was nothing wrong with our goal, onside by a country mile it should have stood. We would have won if that had been the case..but its not so we move on. I was convinced Danny would keep us up, and there is plenty of time and games to do so... but its getting slimmer as each match comes and goes. O'Brian was not totally at fault either, his poor clearance did not go to the scorer at first, but it should have been in row Z the opposite way, and Steele could have done better too with the shot. We have a real struggle now.

If Mellis should be heavily fined JJ should at least have a five game ban.
Mellis's tackle was wayward at best , he didn't intend to harm player unlike JJ who stamped down on Breks knee . He's an overrated thug of a player

    not interested in their players

I do agree his foul was bad though. No its our lot I am bothered about, Danny needs to stamp on this(no pun intended) discipline is the only way we will get out of this mess.

Another referee would have yellow carded mellis and frimpong would not ave walked for those tackles if he'd been a manure player or summat so where do you start with discipline ? Me I'd start with fines for giving he ball away as eaily as they did. JJ would have walked with any referee

Don't mention fining players or you'll have MrX spouting crap at you about how you can't do it.

He's a hot head. The only surprise is he hasn't been sent off more in his career considering how many times he loses it

I personally thought the team performance was outstanding. Two players let them down massively. Mellis and Frimpong would be getting maximum fines, if it were down me.

Thought the display by Wendy was shocking rather than anything outstaning we did tbh. The amount of times we gave the ball away or lost it too easily would have given a more quality experienced team good oppertunities. We were by far the better team man for man 11 v11

Yes a bit of indiscipline, but still sleeves rolled up and getting stuck in to em, something Mellis is accused of not doing at all, heart like a pea so we are told.

Frimpong needs to stay on his feet when tackling whats good for the goose is good for the gander Hemmsy.

That Semedo was it he clouted 3 of ours in face during tackles, he didn`t even get a yellow on the totting up process, not very balanced from the ref on the day.
