Was there a trust meeting with Ben Mansford last week or did I read it wrong?

Think it went ahead. Not seen a summary yet - or heard what was said. Hopefully Gally will clarify and if it went ahead produce a summary

Well at least I didn't imagine the whole thing then.

On a slightly related topic I saw a thread from you asking why your evening with events weren't better attended. I think it's a mixture of things with mainly it being a lack of promotion. I know you promote it a lot on here and twitter and presumably facebook but is there any way to promote it better at the ground as well? Perhaps the club would be willing to allow free tannoy announcements letting everyone in the ground know about an upcoming event and/or allow the trust to put up new and regular posters in the ground? I know at present you have small (and dull) signs up about the trust but to be honest they aren't eye catching and I wouldn't know if they've ever changed because they always look the same to me. Would be brilliant if the trust were allowed a certain area in each stand to purchase a few PROPER poster holders and put regularly updated colour posters in that would catch peoples attention. Alternatively the old club shop sits empty
The other problem that I think you have is that when you advertise a trust evening with it can give the impression of it being a closed shop fuddy duddy old style trust meeting with funny handshakes and the like even though I know that isn't the case. There needs to be a way of getting over the message that they aren't like that at all but Im not sure how you'd do that.
The trust gives free membership these days doesnt it? Is there any way of letting all fans know about this? In the long term it would be good if you could speak to the club and come up with an 'opt out' system for next year so that unless specifically requesting not to all season ticket holders are automatically given free trust membership. I'm sure this could be done with the season ticket renewal forms somehow.

Just a few ideas and hopefully not too negative

    Some good ideas there mate.

We currently have a4 posters around the ground advertising trust events but to be honest I don't think anyone reads them. I don't even read them. Must be better ways such as larger posters near areas where people but food etc. Will mention it at next board meeting.

    Thanks
