    Excellent piece, Allen

Well done, mate. I didn't realise Shoot was still going. I used to get the magazine , along with one called Goal, when I was young (and everything in the world was sepia coloured!:D).

Reading my blog is a bit like this:

There's lots of words, loads of opinion, it looks like it's worth a read. But by the end you realise it was a bit of a non-event. :)

Goal, was brilliant as was Charles Buchanan's Football Monthly...By the time Shoot appeared I was subscribing to Playboy...:p....

...despairingly awaits side-splitting jests combining, Shoot and Playboy...sigh.

A bit harsh on Perkins,; in my view, until this season, he has been instrumental in us surviving in this league.

    Shea went missing against Blackburn?
You mean Shea who started on the left wing of a midfield 4, but got moved into the middle after 15 minutes as their trio of Lowe, Williamson & Cairney were bum raping Dawson & O'Brien to death?
Without Shea moving across & stopping them playing (something Danny did that Flicker wouldn't have done in a billion years) we'd have been buried by half time.

That aside it's not too bad.
Your lack of references to loving or goats is a serious weakness though.
