Paddy he is more creative. Shea has played one good game thus far but has neither scored or assisted. Shea offers little more than Paddy defensively but does not possess his attacking threat. I really would like to see Tompole have a decent run of games though so maybe him instead of either.

Paddy, without a doubt. And don't bother him with defending, there's another 10 players in the team who can do that.

I like the look of Shea. True he hasn't produced much as yet but I think he should be given time.

He's big, strong on the ball, fast and very capable of holding the ball up on the flanks. He's the type of player that you can play a big ball up to and you know he's got a chance of bringing it down and controlling it, even when under pressure. There's also clear signs that he's got a bit of talent with the ball as well - plenty of nice touches, flicks and passes. Most definitely an 'outlet' and looks a right pain to play against.

I've seen him do a bit of defensive stuff too actually. Particularly against Wednesday when we were down to 10 men, everyone had to muck in and, for me, he did that. Sure, he's no defender and he's yet to head the ball despite being 6'3 but he's got to be better than Paddy defensively and he'll be much harder for the opposition to get past.

Think Shea deserves more of a go to get up to speed, but I hope we haven't seen the last of Paddy

Shea. At least he's blank canvas. Whereas we know Paddy won't change

    Paddy.

Especially now Jennings is in the side.

Paddy terrifies defenders. He has been guilty of one howler of a game. In the other games he's either been marked by 3 players (which in itself should have been a huge contribution had other players stepped up to the plate), or he's produced some kind of quality.

I'd love to see Paddy and Jennings on the pitch at the same time. I could see us causing teams real problems. If we're going to stay up, we need to start beating teams. I see Paddy as more of a match winner / contributor than Shea.

I don't think his defending is the issue it's losing the ball in key areas

Can you tell me of an occasion where Paddy has cost us a goal?
