The amount paid by the glaziers in loan repayments and interest since taking over mufc or the amount *****ed on transfers by the noises neighbours since the sheik took control?
Maybe the same ones that come on here and spout garbage about Man Utd doing things the right way ? They might want to know what the right way entails ?
Why dont you wind your ******* neck in? He's only asked a random question. Better than most of the other ***** that gets posted on here daily!!!
I'd be interested to know ... assuming you know the answer and weren't asking the question yourself. P.S. given some of the other threads I've seen on here at least this is football related!
Can say I care anything about the premiership in fact it's almost made me lies my love of football. I rarely watch any other than Barnsley these days.
I agree with that, but this forum seems to be full of Man Utd fans and they keep posting ***** about them, so some will answer them with other opinions. Myself i hate the feckers, just like I hate the test of the Premiership !
More seriously they are both just rich men's playthings these days. Not British clubs at all in anything other than names. I've always had a lot of time for City fans but the model isn't sustainable. They both disgust me to be honest. Paying ridiculous wages and losing the spirit of football.
Just to add, if manure follow through this rumour regarding paying Rooney 300k a week then my interest in football will take a big hit!! How on earth is it possible to pay 1 person...yes 1 person so much money a week?????? Disgraceful
Clubs have gone out of business with debts of less than a weeks wage for Rooney. In fact, didn't we go into administration with a debt of two and half weeks of Rooney's wages?
TBH in this case I think its a valid question, because with all this fair play stuff a lot of teams will be looking for a way round the system, and teams like Man City and Man Utd are a massive part of what's wrong with football (plus a lot of others) rich owners giving them totally unrealistic spending. Particularly pisses me off when the top teams bang on about bringing through young talent (aka ripping off talent from lower clubs) when you know 99% of that will just be jettisoned and when they struggle a bit they will just go out and buy another overpriced prima donna
I don't think you've proved anything. Man Utd have won everything in the time that the Glazers have come in and *****ed the club's money on their interest payments. They've not spent massively in that time - yup, a few big money transfers like most big clubs but the simple fact is they should have been spending the money the likes of City have for years. The key difference is that they could've spent it through the revenue they'd generated themselves. I've no bother with clubs spending money they have - it's the fact City/Chelsea etc don't have it.
Nah, everything that's wrong with football can be traced back to Man Utd. If you don't believe that then you are a hardcore Utd fan. You scum.
I presume the noisy neighbour is referring to the Blunts....................so in my opinion, although derisive, was a valid question because the spending power of both these teams impact Barnsley Football Club. As far as Manchester United are concerned their ability to attract fans living outside of Manchester is common throughout the country so it sort of has an equalling effect throughout the country. Everywhere you go in England there are Manchester United fans so they draw football fans from Barnsley as well as other places in the country such as Leicester for example. That's NOT the case for the Blunts..........if the Blunts are spending and having any kind of success they greatly impact football supporters only in areas of South Yorkshire and the North Midlands such as in areas south of Barnsley where I live. The last time the Blunts were in the Premiership I know of several Barnsley fans that started going to Bramall Lane. Even now when the Blunts are near the bottom of the 1st division there are guys in this part of the Barnsley area walking around and proudly showing off their Blunts shirts I know I keep banging on about this, but Barnsley Football Club are in direct competition in the Barnsley District with Wendy, Blunts and Weeds in their attempts to attract football supporters
Is anyone else ****** off with all these Man Utd/Chelsea/Arsenal/Man City/Liverpool comparison threads plastered all over the BBS? Discussing football, yes, I get that. Discussing finances, I get that too. But it's the passion with which some people argue when discussing these clubs. It's like, well yeah, I go to watch Barnsley because they're the local team, but what I really care about is... pick any team from the above five. Do supporters from those clubs discuss Barnsley on their message boards? Do they ******* hell. I feel exactly the same way as they do, but in reverse. I honestly can't think of anything I care less about than what happens to the clubs at the top of the Premier league. I care more about the fluff I can see in the corner of the room that my shabby hoovering has failed to pick up. I know, I know, if I'm not interested in the threads, don't read them. I don't much, but the regularity with which they're appearing makes this site look like it's for plastic Barnsley fans only really interested in the Premier League. And I do care about that.
