Yes, really. I don't think it's good to lambast the rest of the clubs in the division for spending more than they earn, yet then want an owner to come here and do similarly.

I agree in principle and I'd love football to completely clean its act up, players' wages to be reduced and for money not to be the major deciding factor in a team's chances of success. Sadly, I can't see that happening any time soon and I'd like to see some decent football down at Oakwell again before I pop my clogs...
I think we forget how good we've had it the last few decades. I look at the likes of Stockport, Darlington, Luton and at the moment, Sheff Utd and Portsmouth, and I feel rather satisfied. Of course we'd all like to see us get into the greed league again, or win a trophy, but we don't do too bad for a club that most neutrals would expect to see at the foot of the fourth tier. Such is the low opinion we're looked upon.
Will financial fair play also include scrapping the parachute payments? Because if it doesn't I don't really think it has any semblance of 'fairness' at all...
I'm not bothered about getting into the Premier League, it would be beyond my budget anyway to get to many matches, but I'd like to see a team that can compete in the Championship. And you can't say we've really competed in this league much in the last 6 or 7 years...
