I started it by saying Man City's billions spent by their owners was killing football - sorry, I should've said 'but they aren't as bad as Man Utd'.

Folk do seem hung up about other clubs.

I'm interested in the top Premiership clubs - I love to watch them play each other on the tele.
Was rooting for Chelsea to beat Man City the other night - just so it creates more competition at the top of that league.

That doesn't mean that I would want to watch any of those teams week in week out.
Although I would occasionally like to go to Man City or Chelsea - say once a year.

So I think its possible to be interested in other clubs - its just that its nowhere near as being wrapped up in your own club, especially if that club is your local club.

Sorry I'll refrain from flippant random questions about the teams that dominate the English game and stick topics about kp, hassell Steele crainie etc and their afforded merits or lack of.

    Depending on your view point.

Wasn't really you I was getting at. It's the argument that then ensues when people are more vociferous when defending clubs at top of the Premier League than they are when talking about Barnsley. Genuinely dunt get that.

Personally, I think folk should be allowed to post what they want (within the rules set by Sir Gally and his minions).

But I've realised lately that I'm better off not discussing certain other clubs. Can do without the vitriolic reactions.

I can't stand the Premier League. I don't watch much of it on MOTD anymore. I did the other week when Stonesy was playing. But other than that? Not really.

But I don't mind others discussing it, or clubs within it. Just as it doesn't bother me when folk are talking about politics etc. I just don't bother reading stuff like that, unless the thread becomes lengthy and then I have a look because it usually means an argument is happening and they amuse me.

    Each to their own.

    The Glazers have paid nothing.

They transferred the loans to MUFC. MUFC is liable for repayments. Any profits left (and there will be) go to the Glazers.
