I answered someone. Mr.C came out with a false statement. Time to get booby fit. Hes fit and I told him how I now. On Kennedy. Hes a player that looks to have more confidence thats all and the player in front of him helps out.
You took an opportunity to have a dig. As you did to Arabian Ian As you always do. People are sick to death of it. THIN ICE
Usually agree with you Stahlrost - but sorry, not having it. He must have given the ball away 100 times in the 2nd half punting it down the line when we needed to keep possession - capped off with 2 minutes left when he miscontrolled a pass from Lawrence, laboured after the Ipswich player, and then crouched down at the edge of the pitch with an 'injury' while Jennings tried everything in his power to get us out of trouble. Thought he was our 2nd worst player today behind Shea. O'Brien spends more time in Kennedy's position covering for him than in midfield.
Jennings, Kennedy & COG all excellent today. Shea's was one of the most inept performances I've ever seen in a reds shirt. Hunt was great in first half up to being clattered & his run & cross set up our first. We were up against a good team today.
Thought Jennings and COG were on a different level to the rest of our players. COG has been like that most of the season, nice that Jennings is there to join him now.
Kennedy was very good today but the big improvement in him has come from him having Jennings in front of him. As a full back it must be fantastic to have Jennings supporting you & coming back with the opposing full back every time & he's our most creative player. Quality
rather than threatening hemsy , why not point out to the ones that constantly moan/join in/etc etc ..................that they can ignore any post they wish in a grown up adult way.
Do you really think so? Funny how different we all see the game isn't it because I thought they were absolutely diabolical. Two very average sides playing out what, in the end, turned out to be a very fair draw. So disappointing for us to end up with a draw after being 2-0 up though. Re Kennedy, thought he had one of his better games for sure.
Danny in his post match interview thought so. I think the wind made the game difficult for both sides, but our two centre backs held solid & COG did well holding the ball up. Ipswich has 23 attempts on goal.
Apart from on challenge I'd call it a 70/30 in his favour where he chickened out of say Kennedy gave an ok performance. Still probably as bad as anything in this league but ok
Fair do's if that's what you saw. I saw a decent performance topped by a superb headed clearance in the second half when it would have been a tap in if he'd not been there. I thought he played really well, as did all those around me.
