Well done Jim, consistent again, same old Jack Russell chasing the Tesco bag around the field with your other lower league no mark Dawson. Cracking defending on the post today Jim, just like last week all you had to do was volley down the field but no.........you had to put it on a plate for the opposition to score - AGAIN.

Wonder if Jim will be on twitter this weekend telling the fans what dumplings we are ? Hopefully your days of stealing a wage at our club will be over very soon and we can send you back to the pub league in Scotland, same as Dawson, the quicker we get these off the wage bill the better.

Ipswich constantly went at O Briens flank, even Stevie Wonder can see he is the weak link, Dawson also just as terrible, why these clowns play is beyond me. How these two cart horses get a shirt whilst the likes of Sir Bobby isn't even on the bench is a disgrace. McCourt again should have been used but again did not figure. We sat far too deep and invited Ipswich on and in the end it was a point gained.

Wilson got his tactics and team choice wrong again today, good job the other teams around us all lost. Shea looked like he had been on the lash and I'm still waiting for him to show some class. Digby, Hassell and Cywka should now be given a run of games along with McCourt or even Woods for that matter.

He has to change it for the next game.

On a seperate note Super Mick Mcarthy quote to the BBC after the game - sheer class Mick - one day you will be manager at Oakwell I hope.

    Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy:

"We played well in the second half, we had enough chances to win it. (We were) profligate and let them off the hook.

"The players kept going, we rallied them on and we got what we deserved. In fact, I don't think we got what we deserved, I think we should have won.

"It's a blooming good point from two-nil down with nine minutes to play. I thought if we got one back we might win it.

"You heard them singing 'Mick McCarthy is a Red'. I am and I always will be."

He is a gent - agreed
He pointed out that he had left the town 30 plus years ago on the radio and had fond memories
He will never manage us and who can blame him

I'm glad Mick won't manage us. I met him on many occasions through work when he was manager of Millwall and he would always ask me straight away how "we" were doing and talked of his love for Barnsley.

    Top bloke.

One of very few managers who gives you his honest opinions in press conferences. Being a Barnsley fan is the the truth.
He always speaks well of the club.

I think sometimes it is best to not come back. I'm hoping Danny's return ends happily, it is never easy for a legend to return.

I saw him make his debut for Barnsley & when he was Ireland manager supported them. If Keane hadn't been such a lovely person
they could have made the semi finals.

Good luck Mick, always welcome at Oakwell.

Only1GayP - Oh I forgot O Brien scored when he came on as sub against Ipswich away

so that's one goal and a half decent game for every 9 games he plays in, in nearly 100 appearances for us.

Like I've said to you before, stick to watching the cricket, as you obviously know nothing about football.

Dawson and O Brien will never be championship standard whilst they have a whole in their backside, Wilson's guillotine won't be long for those two, he's already got rid of a load of the dead wood and they won't be far behind, and good riddance to them.

If that makes me a dumpling in O Brien's eyes then he needs to remember who pays his wages, he cost us the game in the last minute at Hillsbro' and he messed up again for a goal to Ipswich yesterday.

    Disagree only1kp.
Wath n West Melton's eloquent description of Dawson and O'Brien is an accurate assessment of why we will be relegated if we persist on selecting them together on a regular basis.
Squad backup players at best sadly lacking the quality required if we are to survive the drop.

I agree 100%,and my problem isn't that he thinks obrien and dawson aren't good enough, there not, my problem is when the reds do well he is strangely absent but when not so well he is posting weekly stamping his feet like a petulant schoolchild while being abusive to players,

Only1Gayp - Have you got the brains of a hot dog ?????????

I give credit to the team when credit is due, unfortunately what I cannot abide is players who are stealing a living at the expense of younger hungrier players who never get a fair crack of the whip.

The half time draw ticket lady at the side of the east stand lower would do a better job on the pitch than O Brien and Dawson.

£30 quid at Hillsbro' + a child's ticket + parking + programme + food and drinks = not much change out of £70 for the day, so if O Brien cocks it up for us and loses the game then yes, that idiot will get a b*llocking from me.

Why Wilson played him and Dawson again just flabbergasts me, but O Brien didn't let us down, for the second week running he threw another goal to the opposition.

Drop those 2 Muppets and we have a chance of staying up but in the meantime dumb and dumber are our weak links.

Stick to the cricket I think that you have a better grasp of that than football.
