I've posted about this before but does anyone think either by plan or mistake the club could be building for a bright future.

If you set the the bar at say 24 then do you think if we survive this season then we could finally grow.

We've not got to much in defence but in attack then we have the start of what could be a good future.

    A midfield of
    Jennings Digby frimpong RNL
    Mellis

Not sure if you would want to bank on Rose next year but surely he can be on the bench.

and the other younger players in the squad.

Not sure what everyone else thinks but I hope it will bare fruit in the future.

Non on loans but Frimpong and Mellis need to be put on long term contracts if we survive

1: what have you seen in Frimpong so far that makes you think he is worth a long term contract? He's still got to earn one, being an ex Arsenal player doesn't give him a right to anything.

2: Successive managers have overlooked RNL for whatever reason so do you think Danny is going to be the one to resurrect his career.

Frimpongs a talent. Very good player. Hope to see him on Saturday in the starting 11.

RNL need a chance for whatever reason hes not been given a chance.
I got annoyed the manager on Saturday. First hes not played the formation we last won a game with and plays shea instead of rnl. RNL and Jennings on the wings would be a great pair.

He's done sweet FA in a Barnsley top so far so I think the contract needs to wait until he has proven he wants to be here and wants to commit to us long term.

I still don't know what it is about RNL; he gets the odd game, plays well then gets dropped and its not just one manager so I wonder if he just has problems training or if he has attitude problems.

For the last 12 month it's been due to first 11 players getting fit or change in formation.

Maybe i'm looking at it too idealistic but I think you get these younger players in the squad and they will click. Mellis especially can get very frustrated when players aren't on is level technically or have that football intelligence that someone like Jacobs got. If you get him with players that are on that level and if people like it or not the younger players are the most technical players in the squad that will life is game to the next level.

Medium term if we could get one of the right backs on loan and get a talented centre back to play with Cranie the the team in my opinion would look good in a fast passing game.

This season we are going to have to battle it out with the likes of Dawson Lawrence ....

I can go on what I saw on Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday. I saw a lot that impressed me, he wasn't playing with the best player without the ball in Mellis but we looked fine and thats a credit to him. The second yellow was mad. Said it at the time and 100 times since.

I was way more annoyed at his ongoing neglect of Paddy McCourt. Bordering on criminal in my opinion.
