Bobby was only kept on in the summer to please the fans - if he had been released without a testimonial a few on here would have cried
He'll be off looking for regular football at the end of the season, that's well understood. Whatever, his injuries are becoming a real concern, Danny's just being realistic. Bobby will mis his own testimonial at this rate.
Paul ****er and the 'luck must run out soon' stuff Mainly heard in the Radio Sheff sports office no doubt. Cnuts.
Not really. He was getting a testimonial anyway, whether he stayed or not. That was announced long before he signed his last contract. Had Flitcroft released him, ala Foster, there would have been a similar reaction on here. One of shame, disappointment, but acceptance and looking back at his time here fondly as well as wishing him well. Personally, I'd like him to remain here in a coaching capacity rather than faffing about for a couple of years in the pub league.
Re: Paul ****er and the 'luck must run out soon' stuff "Barnsley can't keep surviving on the last day can they?" he asked. Sorry, but how many times have we done that? Deedar cnuts.
Re: Paul ****er and the 'luck must run out soon' stuff He was on about it to CoG an'all. Wishful thinking tosspot.
Re: Paul ****er and the 'luck must run out soon' stuff I know. First few minutes of that interview was like listening to him pimping him out.
Well if that's the case I wish we had given him his testimonial last summer and parted ways, I like the man and feel he deserves to be playing football, just not at this level
In the areas he plays whitey the club signed three players and two players and they are all here until the end of the season. Although i'm not impressed Lawrence.
I'm glad he stayed. The way he came back unfit against high flying Leeds (at the time) and bossed them was a joy to watch. Just a shame he wasn't used in other games. Which I'm sure has led to his current injury troubles. Because he's a valuable member of the squad. I'm not writing him off, owt could happen over the next 4 months or whatever. But listening to Danny, I think it's unlikely that Bobby will be playing football for us after this season, especially if we stay up.
Erm, I know, hence me saying what I did. I've nowt else to say on Hassell today, I've covered everything I think. Time for Frimpong, Woods, Lawrence or whoever to step up to the plate.
Depending on the formation he uses I hope he builds are middle two and three around these four. Frimpong, Mellis, Digby and Dawson. where do you think Woods will play, Left back or in midfield?
Hope not. If they are then that means they haven't impressed to join bigger teams and bring in the much needed revenue. Another Hammill, Vaz Te Anderson Butterfield(under Keith hill) Stones, Drinkwater fine with me.
