Nothing on Doncaster website, twitter etc etc about a pitch inspection but wouldnt surprise me if their is
Wife's mates husband is a plod at Doncaster he's working at 10-00 if games on 14-00 if not, he's had a text telling him to phone work before he sets off because theirs a inspection, he's just text me to let me know
Well I've been up about 3 hours and it's lashed it down non-stop, would assume the same weather system is affecting Doncaster. Starting to doubt whether it will be on to be honest. Would be disappointing if it's called off - further fixture congestion, Donny have some of their better players back for a rearranged game etc. Although playing in weather like this doesn't make for much entertainment anyway and turns the game into a bit of a lottery with players making mistakes.
Yep, I'm in Donny staying with my folks... isn't actually raining at the moment But has been on and off all night. pretty grim weather.
Just called operations manager and they have confirmed there is no pitch inspection , the pitch is covered and the pitch is fine . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Honestly believe that if played today we'll win. Postpone it and I think it hands Donny a big advantage that could turn things in their favour. Fingers crossed the game is on. Wish I was going.
