No striker on the bench. Bizarre.

I'm taking it Woods is playing left wing. Bizarre. Think that's harsh on Paddy/Cywka.

But nice to see Digby getting another chance to shine.

Harsh on Cywka maybe, but Woods is left sided, no?

Woods actually looks OK, be interesting to see how he fares against his old club though

I know mate. My point (bizarre) was that I don't see how he warrants a start already when Cywka and Paddy have delivered for us already. Not a criticism of Woods, hope he does well, summat to prove I suppose to Dickov.

So much for Hemsy telling us he wouldn't play ont wing....

You're the one who caved, I kept telling him Woods was a left winger. I'm gonna kick his ass toneet!! :D

I had Tomesz and Paddy to start, but that is a strong looking side. If Frimpong can let Hunt bomb on and Dale can come inside on occasion, Digby driving forward, it's a very attacking line up.

Ignoring the whys and wherefores of who deserves what chance and who should feel hard done by...looking at that side, I feel pretty optimistic

Slightly aroused by a central midfield partnership of Frimpong and Digby.

Wilson is now picking players who have the potential to stop the opposition from walking through our midfield.

    New era.

    He bullied me into submission.

Totally agree with your thoughts on the shape and tactics going forward.

I expect a win now. So that means we'll be 1-0 down within 10 minutes.

I have no complaints with that team - at least not until we have a replacement for Kennedy.

Woods position is the one in the team that is wide open - Cywka/McCourt/Shea have all had chances with moments of good play but a lot of indifference amongst it.
