Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? Simple question, yes or no? By smoke cannisters I mean those things that emit smoke and have caused controversy on here, whatever your preferred name for them is.
Poll: do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good th No. I'm asthmatic and it's terrible for me. Don't see why I should have to miss matches or parts or matches because of hooligans with 1 brian cell between them.
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? I'm thinking of sneaking in some ground to air missiles next week and possibly a couple of RPG's should be a reight atmosphere!!
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? Depends on the cultural sensibilities of the country. In games in South America it is part of the spectacle in the UK I'd say no bring back the klaxon.
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? That's why I put 'our' matches
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? Sorry missed that. Just daft kids following the latest fad. It'll disappear as soon as it arrived. Bring back the inflatables I miss the Stoke City Pink Panthers myself.
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? In South America Fans die regularly at matches, football is in a right state...Ultras practically running clubs.
Re: Poll: do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good th Me too. And it's heightened when I'm at footy. (Psychosomatic, nerves etc - I have a minor attack when we score, seriously). If some thoughtless old biddy let one off in the upper west stand, that would totally ruin the afternoon for me. The team usually has that honour.
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? Aye there is that I could have used Italy as a different example I guess no whoops that's the same...
Re: Poll: do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good th Aren't they Illegal at matches or am I mistaken.
Re: Poll: do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good th I would think so, but I don't know for certain.
Re: Poll: do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good th I know Flares are....although I wore nothing else in the 70's, had some red jeans, which after loads of washes ended up pink...sorry for being frivolous.
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? I think we first need to run a poll on what the agreed name should be: cannisters, bombs, grenades or something else entirely. Sort it out, JD.
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? Bloody Hell!!!!..... is this still going on? Doesn't bother me either way!
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? I reckon we should all take fire extinguishers to the next home game, if we see somebody holding a flare presume they're on fire and try and put them out
Re: Do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good thing? Personally I don't give a flying fk if they go bang or not its the smoke that comes from them that people are complaining about , the idiots that throw them make a big thing about it adding to the atmosphere, the bit they overlook is that unless they drop a bollock with them they are chucking them about therefore its every other chuff within throwing range that gets to 'enjoy' the 'atmosphere' not the pea brain that thinks its acceptable to have them!
Re: Poll: do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good th What is the law governing smoke bombs and flares at football matches? The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985. It is on offence for a person to enter or attempt to enter a football ground while in possession of a flare, smoke bomb or firework. The sentence for these offences can be as much as three months in prison, and in many cases, fans who have no previous convictions are being given prison sentences for attempting to enter a football ground with a smoke bomb in their pocket as the courts take these offences very seriously. There are two different offences (1) possession in the football ground; and (2) possession while attempting to enter. Although logically, attempting to enter a football ground seems to be less culpable than a fan who has managed to get the smoke bomb, flare or firework into the football ground, in real terms the courts do not consider one offence to be more serious than the other. Fans searched prior to entering the football ground and found to be in possession of a firework, flare or smoke bomb, have still been given custodial sentences.
Re: Poll: do you think people bringing smoke cannisters to our matches is a good th We should all take the old wooden rattles in
