Anyone know who this young female JRT belongs to? She was found at Asda in Thurnscoe this evening. She is micro chipped but the chip isn't registered to anyone. Not wearing a collar.

Please call us on 07534982314 or 01709 876832 ID and proof of ownership will need to be shown.

Thanks for the post MR C a friend of mine has a Jack Russel from and I thought it might have been her.. but shes safe at home.. I hope she finds her owners and is returned safe.. the problem with handing dogs in like this is that if the owners dont find them within a certain time the dogs are put down... and thats unacceptable to me..

Another little terrier found in Wombwell this morning. Handed in to Barc.

TarnTyke, I think Barc look after the dogs for 3 months. If they have not been claimed in that time, they are put up for re-homing. They do amazing work, which is why I campaign for them when I can.

Thanks for that MR C im delighted if that is Barcs policy... the RSPCA have a different policy which disappoints me in fact the RSPCA disappoint me in many ways.. not convinced they always put their efforts where they should... let me know if you have an update on the little fellas..
