Reading about these sinkholes, apparently there've been 6 reported. 4 have been in Conservative voting areas,: Ripon, Kent and 2 in Herts .

Is this their punishment for having the cheek to get into power again? We don't need help though from the Dutch cos money's no object!

Walters Ash isn't in Herts. It is in Buckinghamshire, about 4 miles north of High Wycombe. That was the massive hole that opened up on someone's driveway.
I know this area well because I was living there for 7 years until recently.

No need to worry though, because if they're in Tory voting areas the government will make it their mission to get it sorted out. We're a rich country and money is no object when it comes to helping the victims*.

*if it is within one of their constituencies!

High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, that's 5; which is of course a Conservative Constituency.
Croxley Green and Hemel Hempstead are both in Hertfordshire.
    One reported in SE London.
    M2 in Kent.
    Ripon.

It's a shame that I feel so much hatred towards the Conservative Party and their supporters that I really don't give a **** about their suffering. Why should I?

How can anybody enjoy people suffering, especially our fellow countrymen/women. Absolutely staggers me, I couldn't care if someone was rich or poor no one deserves it.

So what you're saying is that in 2007 despite Barnsley returning 3 MP's since god were a lad the Labour government which was in charge at the time did **** all to help Barnsley folk out why exactly....

Because it would socially exclude the Tories in the south and they felt morally obliged to not show favouritism?

Maybe the good people of Walters Ash and Hemel Hempstead feel the same way about you.

By the way, is your house over any old mine workings? Good luck

No, just had a look and I'm pretty sure what I said was...

I live in Barnsley, of course i don't expect them to care about any of us.
Anyway my point is, after all the crap this Tory government has put the country through, i think it's karma that these Tory areas are getting their come uppance for voting the mongrels in. Nothing personal, like.

Doesn't matter what colour rosette they wear, soon as they get elected they all feed in the same money orientated trough.

Not a *** paper gap between them.

So everyone in a "Tory" area voted conservative did they? I bet you cant find a constituency where even half the electorate voted for them - I just looked up Hemel Hempstead as an example and out of an electorate of 72750 only 24721 voted for the Tory who won - so only 1/3 voted for him and 2/3rds didnt so its nice to see that you think its good that so many non Tories are suffering just because of where they live

Noticed the river in Cameron's constituency has been dredged twice since 2007. He is bragging that he stopped the flooding there

It's a typically blinkered, even ignorant, attitude FR. You and I both know that Farnham is a lovely place to live but, as it is in down south Hampshire, is obviously full of fox hunting, gin swigging, pink cheeked sorts. :)
It's incredible how much misinformation there is about the "North V South" debate. I lived in Princes Risborough and Aylesbury for the best part of seven years until last summer and a marvellous little country town it is, nestled beneath the majestic Chilterns (as an estate agent might say). Unfortunately, right up against the base of that escarpment is an area of former council houses that are now a mixture of neat, privately owned and downright revolting (rented by the slob element) houses and flats. As I was being stung for £875 per month in rent for a small house I briefly considered buying one of these but decided that not far short of £300,000 was a bit too much to pay for a 3-bed ex council house. I decided to migrate back north instead, and here I am.
The point is that in every "soft Southern, Tory heartland" town (like Risborough) there are areas populated by people that could easily live in Newcastle, Barnsley, Nottingham or wherever. In other words they are just like everywhere else - ordinary, working people (if they can get a job). There are parts of High Wycombe and Aylesbury that are similar to Barnsley so where does the "Labour/Tory priorities" argument stack up?
Let's face it, they are all as bad as each other no matter what colour they pin on their lapels.
