The decision to hire those jokers from Rochdale and to go downmarket is what's left us in this position. This mess is no reflection on Danny whatsoever.
Agree. While Swansea, Bournmouth, Blackpool, Huddersfield kicked on we tried to do the Championship on the cheap, it was never going to work in the long run.
For what?keeping us in the league yes I agree with that well done Patrick real fans will be forever gratefull
The auditors reckon relegation would cost us £6M, so how cheap is that? The club's gates, and hence it's revenue have declined since we hired wrecking ball and his lower league cast-offs. Danny has been left attempting the impossible.
To be fair, arguably in a stronger position on Jan 1st 2014, than Flicker was on Jan 1st 2013. I feel Danny's past glories have bought him a free pass. 1 win from 12.
Hahaha still blaming the past regime? The only players that Hill and Flitcroft brought in that started tonight were O'Grady, Jennings, Cranie, Ramage and Kennedy. O'Grady and Cranie have been our best performers this season. You can't blame Hill or Flitcroft for the team's current performances. Funny how quickly you can forget the great job Flitcroft did at the end of last season. Unfortunately Danny hasn't had the same impact as he Flitcroft had, yet that's Flitcroft's fault? Strange.
Aren't the tories still doing that. So in that sense. It will take forever to sort out the mess left behind by the last lot.
Danny inherited some appalling at thus level you can't shine *****. He's got rid of sone of the deadwood and made us competitive what else did you expect. We had our miracle last season and then Flitcroft proved that he could only crisis manage not long term plan.
I agree with you in a way, I would have backed Robins because his teams are hard to beat, not exactly enjoyable to watch but less likely to be relegated, a small investment at that time may have saved money in the long run.
The decision to appoint Keith Hill was a monumental error only matched in my lifetime by the boards decision to appoint Steve Parkin.
