Pat Cryne is rubbish...........no he isn't Danny Wilson is rubbish.........no he isn't Doesn't matter to me now if we go up, down or sideways...........because we have the right people in charge at the top now
No one wants to go down. It would be a disaster. Expect a much tougher response if we do. And a new manager
I'm sick of all this hyperbole. If we go down it would be a "disaster" err no it wouldn't Donny have managed to survive as have Peterborough. Let's get real with the ridiculous parachute payments system we struggle to compete at this level. If we get relegated we will survive and probably do ok in the league below. We are a well run club with a decent manager.
Aye, it dunt matter if we're in the ale house league again. Can't wait for Crawley at home on a Tuesday night with their travelling support of 50. Good times beckon.
I accepted that we would be relegated this season a few weeks ago. Only a run a wins would make me think twice. Sadly we're still awaiting a run of wins. Also 6 goals conceded in last 3 games doesn't help. I think the club is in good hands, but this season is a write off. Not expecting to bounce straight back either (Bitter experience)
What gives us any sort of god given right to think we are too good for that. Results don't lie. 7 years of struggle don't lie. I'm not looking forward to it nor will it be the end of the world course not. FFS we aren't the Windy Massives are we thinking we are too good for the position we deserve to be in. Slagging off teams for poor support what do you think the majority of the Championship think of us.
Who are these "right people"? Cryne has been there for ages Danny has made no real discernible difference so far Mansford has been in charge only sufficiently for it to be considered that his tenure has been disappointing Nobody knows if the "right people" are in charge What we all know is that we are going down
Happy as we're always candidates for 1 of the relegation spots and we won't hamper their promotion ambitions.Indeed, We could enhance them.
In terms of our support they think we are ***** and that we don't really belong in this league playing their bigger teams. It would be unfortunate for us to replicate this attitude in a division below. As an ever present for 5 of the 7 seasons since we came back up home and away I'd say it's timeto regroup and refocus if that's in the league below then so be it. We've done it before.
Might it actually be good to be in a league where we could actually win some games for a change though, I think support could actually go up because of that, nothing worse than getting beat every week.
Regroup and refocus in the league below, oh I see and when the attendances drop to levels that would make Donny look a massive club, we would need to refocus again as without the' Championship Millions' we would be financially fecked. Our last period in league one was awful, even the promotion season wasn't that great until we actually reached the Play-offs. I definateley prefer the struggle in this Division its just this season the struggle is over.
