Flicker, who you've got to respect, 10 league games in = 17 points (with two wins on the bounce to come and that FA Cup run already under his belt), Wilson = 8 points. Plus this season when Flicker and Mellon were in charge we picked up almost exactly the same number of points per game as we have since the Wonderland era began. And they also had the balls to play Paddy rather than O'Brien. At this rate we'll have Hassell as Prayer Manager with Bruce Dyer and Darren Moore in the godout before the end of the season.
Haha. You funny. 'Prayer' because Bobby is a player but also religious. Haha. That's some seriously funny material right there.
Truly delighted you find it amusing. What's even funnier though is how you go from mauling to loving individual players/managers and back again every second game. Surprised the JOB aviator has lasted this long.
What have my aviator specs got to do with this? Water off a ducks back, your latest accusations. One only has to click on your profile, read your 83 posts. No mention of a BFC match, or performance in your 13 months registered. Just a collection of posts relating to our previous two managers, combined with digs at our current and former religious players, digs at other BBS posters, digs at non-Hillcroft signings/players and so on. If I wasn't such a thicko, I'd perhaps conclude that you're not actually a BFC supporter at all. I am able to work out the location of each poster, via some pretty special software as well. Well, the region at least, not actual towns. 'Greater Manchester' you're in. I rest my case.
Thank you for taking the time to read all my posts. Only sorry that you didn't find much evidence of the fickleness and inconsistency that you were doubtless looking for. Wouldn't suggest that I am a super-fan and I don't spend much time on here as I don't think it's fit for purpose, but I do like to make the odd observation about matches. And I only have a go at fans who need their bubbles *****ing for such sins as bullying and being apologists for boo boys.
I only found post after post digging out Jim O'Brien, Bobby Hassell, Luke Steele (basically, anybody not signed by Hillcroft) and Danny Wilson. Along with a load of pro-Hillcroft guff, and the odd swipe at other posters for daring to criticise Hillcroft. I probably won't ever know for certain who you are, but I know all of the above, and that you're a Greater Manchester resident. So it doesn't need rocket science to conclude you're no Barnsley supporter, and more likely than not to be affiliated with Hillcroft. Feel free to prove me wrong.
Think Flicker made a fair few mistakes including: Not going to Wolves Letting Golbourne go to Wolves Signing Mvoto Not strangling the doctor who did Jennings and Nyatanga's medicals Making a rod for his own back by giving a new deal to Hassell who was always going to be hailed as the frozen-out saviour if things went wrong, but has seemingly been injured for most of the season anyway. But I think Wilson has made mistakes too including: Signing a succession of Premiership loan players most of whom have so far either.. Spent more time off the field through injury having arrived here with injury/fitness concerns or... perhaps had issues with culture shock, to be as polite as I can. That plus bewildering tactics and team selections, including not picking creative players like Paddy and Cywka when we've been desperate for three points. I realise Wilson's not had the best luck, but he's made gambles that have thus far backfired, especially down the right, and ended up costing us points and goals. He must be praying that Hunt is fit for Saturday, for fear of having to bring Mvoto or Nyatanga back into the centre and pushing Cranie out wide, or even worse... Ultimately I'm not arsed who has made more mistakes. Just like blame and praise to be apportioned in a fairer manner before we get a reputation in the game as the club with the fans who'll never really be happy. Whatever you think, I'll be hoping against hope for three points on Saturday, be it with or without Cywka and Paddy, and will be rooting for O'Brien and Shea in every challenge. Same goes for every game between now and forever really, whoever is in charge.
Flicker did well last season but completely lost the plot this season and along side his idiotic Rochdale mate has to rank as the joint worst manager in the history of BFC. Thankfully Sir Bobby is still here.
I don't rank Keith as the worst, or Flicker. Both had spells where we were fantastic, both had spells that were disastrous.
Off the top of my head, Steve Parkin, Glynn Hodges, Gudjon Thordardson, Viv Anderson and John Hendrie.
I would wager that your arse would do a better job than the two Rochdale clowns. They both have something in common with your arse however.
That maybe true Mario and it also speaks better than the two in question, but still doesn`t make Flicker the worst manager we`ve ever had.
