Great win today but why is the Ponte end so quiet?

Hardly a peep from our Kop in the first half. Improved second half but disappointing overall really. Great battling from our lads today. Jimbo what a tremendous spirit and engine he has. Thought Dawson shored the middle up when he came on. Another 3 wins on the bounce and I might just change my mind about us being relegated. Really hope so.

Its not been great all season, I just thought with the importance of todays game, our Kop would be loud. have to say when they do start it does sound well, but it's not that often.

I thought there was a better atmosphere today than usual (although there was big periods of silence too). When people did sing, I think more joined in. We even got a song going in the ESU near the end!!

When anyone refers to a Kop in football in usually means the home end where they sing. I'm well aware of the old Spion Kop end.

Spion Kop from the Boer War war I believe.

I wouldn't call it The Kop I would call it their Kop. As I said usually in football parlance it means the home singing end.

Most of the Man Utd fans I know sing from their armchairs anyway.
