No. But there is a difference between saying someone had a bad game and saying someone just isn't good enough. Add derogatory remarks and a smattering of verbal abuse thrown in, as some did. Anyrooerd, he doesn't like night matches, he's the first to admit it!! And he's never going to be a right back, not in a million years.
Not overdoing it on the praise as much though, he was poor on Tuesday and got better at the death when we were going forward and not defending. Poor yes ***** no.
We've won, I'm slightly merry (with more drinks to come). I'm not here to win a popularity contest. Good job, eh?
I am, hence playful jollities like Jumble Pie. I've been known to write players off too. But I'm still waiting for David Tuttle to prove me wrong. Tumble Pie?
Just a few players I remember writing off at some point in their BFC careers: Ricardo Vaz Te. Chris Dagnall. Scott Wiseman. Nathan Doyle. Jay McEveley. Michael Chopra. Marciano Van Homoet. Kevin Donovan. Eric Tinkler. Daniel Nardiello. Marc Richards. Darren Sheridan. Carl Regan. Diego Arismendi. Dean Gorré. Tony Bullock. I clearly got a few right (Donovan, McEveley, Van Homoet, Arismendi, Regan, Bullock). And a few others, eventually (Wiseman, Dagnall, Tinkler, Doyle). But plenty I got wrong (Nardiello, Richards, Shez, Chopra, Gorré, Vaz Te) over time. Bit like a football manager's success rate in the transfer market I suppose. Must be a human thing.
