Eh? The present Afghan Karzai administration is a democratised, elected government. Largely implemented by UN, NATO and Allied forces. Why would the Afghanistan government 'have him'?

Only the other day in Bradford, I got on a bus home and the Asian driver was talking about bombs. Our lass works at Bradford Royal Infirmary, and her Asian colleagues are always discussing bombs. The little Asian fella who delivers our takeaway, he's been known to mention bombs. As well as the Asian doctor I saw last month. Lot of bombs getting dropped in the middle east. It's sad.

I do like a good witch hunt from people with no real idea of the facts. Scratch the surface and out comes the racist. Anyone who opposes terrorists living on our country are classed as 'racist' - we aren't allowed an opinion while they are allowed to preach to their young to to ensure they are brought up to hate the country they are squatting in

Freedom of speech only works one way though that's the problem - they can preach hate on our streets and burn poppies yet if I went on the street with placards saying burn all mosques then im inciting racial hatred.
They are both as bad. One wrong doesn't make a right. Neither things you describe will get you arrested. Violence will do though. Can't you see that you are just the same as them, but wearing a different hat?

I oppose terrorists living in our country, and I despise those who preach their hatred on our streets etc. I also disagree with our government getting involved in conflicts by suggesting we are an hour away from being attacked, by nations with WMD's. I disagree with them occupying other nations under the guise of 'helping' them, whilst the alleged wanted men are hiding in a nation who do have WMD's. I'm not sure how many muslim people live in this country, or how many of them aren't British by birth. But I would guess the percentage of them who have terrorist tendencies, or are practicing hatred on our streets is very minimal. There are probably just as many possible terrorists in this country who were born here, and aren't muslim. The only real episode of racism that I've encountered in Bradford (which is full of muslim people) in my two years here is the EDL demo a few months ago that I walked through. But I've heard many Bradford born, white people refer to muslims as 'dirty Paki's' and other such vulgarities. There may indeed be lots of terrorists here, or Asians grooming white girls and whatever else the BNP/EDL are spouting about, but I've not heard or seen any of it. Doesn't mean it's not happening, I know. But I've not heard of any white, Bradford born men grooming young Asian girls either. The OP referred to "these sort" of people. As though the UK knowingly allows terrorists into the country. I'm not a big of fan of any government to be fair, but I'm pretty sure they don't allow terrorists to enter the UK knowing full well they are terrorists. Another poster then suggested it made him sick to hear "that sort of name" in reference to the alleged terrorist Moazzam Begg, living in 'our' country. I find that a racist statement. And I'm pretty sure the poster who typed it wouldn't be sick if 'Asif Abdullah', a surgeon, saved his or a family members life. This isn't 'our' country in the way some of you insist. We're all originally from another country, if you go far enough down your family tree. I'm quite surprised that the cleverer posters on here haven't entered this thread so far, because they'd make all of the points I've tried to make, much better than I ever could. I'm not too happy that we're allowing so many foreigners into the country. Not because I'm racist, though. But because I don't see that there's the housing or employment for folk already here (whatever their nationality/creed/religion), let alone yet another influx of Eastern Europeans. That's my two penneth, anyway.
