Travelled quite a lot the one pkastic I thought was completely beyond amazing was Angkor Wat in Cambodia. If you've not been you should amazing. Also the Gringo trail through the Americas has some amazing stuff though can get a bit harem scarum at times. Places I've not been I'd love to go do the Trans Siberian rail journey.
Shurely shome mishtake! It has GOT to be Filey and Inghams for Fish 'n chips Best on the entire East Coast IMHumbleO
I love Ernie Becketts in Cleethorpes but I must admit when I visited my son in South Shields we went to Colemans and I can see why they are voted UK best
I went to Oslo ten years ago and completely loved it. An absolutely beautiful country and lovely people
See any whales? Show us yer bloody whales!! Cheers for he Sparklehorse clip mate, never seen that one. Going to watch it now before bed time.
I always try to go somewhere new/special every year. I wanted to do the Top Gear trail on a bike in Vietnam, and managed that last year, and took the missus diving in Thailand this year. For next year, we've got a road trip around the US planned with a couple of buddies; nearly 8,000 miles and every American cliché you can think of! Never been to Cambodia or New Zealand, so they're on the list for the future too.
I've seen a whale. Humpback, Monterey Bay. Two actually, mum and its bairn. It was amazing like that a whale was just over there, but you only saw its back, so as far as having summat to watch and look at, it wasn't overly impressive. Just sort of black. That day and the one before we also saw sharks, dolphins, elephant seals, thousands of sea lions, ordinary run of the mill seals, sea otters, a million pelicans, snakes, raccoons, chipmunks and zebras. Honest to goodness zebras. Not zebras in a zoo or zebras in a wildlife park, just ******* zebras, mincing about at the side of the road. None of which are whales, but all of which were much more fun to watch. Although the whale's breath was summat you'll never forget. Smelt like a sardine explosion in a fanny fart factory.
AH ! Stole my idea ! Road trip across America is the number one most discussed between me and my mates. I'd love to do it. I've also been fortunate enough to travel a fair bit and loved Asia, got loads of close friends over there so I'll be heading back there next year for a wedding.
Quite a few places visited in Asia when I was travelling, a lot of Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Vietnam, bits of Singapore and the Phillipinnes and a small amount of Indonesia. The wedding I'm going to is in Phuket, Thailand, who I almost played (football) for !
