I just got back from Phuket. Beautiful by day and depraved by night.

You never quite recover from seeing a woman put a string of razor blades and needles, and a live bird from... actually, never mind. I don't want to spoil it!

haha, don't worry buddy, I've seen it.... :( fell out of the back of a tuk-tuk onto the main road through Phuket after such a depraved night. Hope you enjoyed it there pal, got lots of friends there, living in the fancy gated communities.

    Mines a long old list!

Just booked honeymoon for Vietnam which i've wanted to visit for quite a while.

Want to see the northern lights and also visit the ice hotel in the arctic circle. Belize, Costa Rica and Guatemala are high on the list currently.

Galapagos, though i'm a little concerned about tourists being there and morals may have a bigger say than my want to visit.

The Phillippines, Sri Lanka, Maldives... oh just everywhere!!!

I'll start with Antwerp on Saturday!

Best trip I've ever been on was 19 away games in the premier league watching Barnsley

Would love that again one day

Did route 66 in August last year. It's a fantastic experience, much more interesting than Billy Connolly made it seem.
    Do it!

We went to Cuba (Holguin, 90 miles south of Florida) on honeymoon last year. Loved it so much we've booked again for later in the year. Best holiday I've ever had, such a beautiful country.

Nobody fancy these popular danger holiday destination packages you see for places like Afghanistan, North Korea, Iraq, Somalia etc?

What was it you didnt like?
I know that Cayo Coco has not got any real Cubans living there, they supposedly bus the workers in from the mainland, mainly from Moron.
ve stopped on Cayo Guillermo, the next island, only 6 hotels (I think) and beautiful beaches, superb snorkelling too.
I have been to Varadero and Havana. Loved every minute there.

I think we just had a bad experience.

    No hotel management.
No water to hotel for 3 days
Food awful, cold and what we had day before
Evening entertainment was none existent, and they tried to get the tourist out the club early to har "a private party""
Shop on site was always closed

This was supposed to be a 5 star hotel by Thomas Cook standards
Funny next year they didn't use the same hotel

Bloody hell mate, that sounds like hell ! Which hotel was that ?
Totally opposite of what we found. The Cubans could not do enough for us, the Brits, especially the Southerners,, were in general rather fecking annoying with the locals. Treated them like skivvies, I had a set to with a couple about how they treated the staff.
I love the Cuban coffee, really strong and dark !
