Welcome to my world. I'm like this every night, it's the bane of my life. I have to be up in 6 hours. One word of advice, don't stare at the computer too long. :)
I've just been reading Michael Carrick's wife called Roy Keane a c unt on twitter. The world's gone mad.

I'm like this almost every night when I have work. Constantly checking the clock makes it worse. This is weird though as it's the holidays :(

Yep, I know it well. The later it gets, the more stressed you get and less likely to sleep. I really sympathise, I know exactly what it's like. It's serious condition, it effects everything. I know for a fact I would have gotten on better in life if I could sleep like normal people. :(

Insomnia is a terrible thing, I suffer from it quite a lot and often only get a couple of hours sleep a night. You have my sympathy.

Keep off computer befiore retiring. Do not drinks tea or coffee at night well before going to bed. Before going to bed drink warm water with honey in. If all this fails put a wet sock on one foot inside a plastic bag. Brain diverts to this and stops what is bothering you

I think that might bother me just as much!!

I did eventually get to sleep at around 4am ish. I'm the complete opposite in the morning though, I never want to get up! I think the cup of tea I had around 6pm is to blame; I can never handle caffeine very well, but it's the holidays and I really fancied one - totally wasn't worth it though! I spent most of the night googling tips to sleep, the best thing I found was this, as those are exactly the types of thoughts I have.

    knock one out. It works.

    No need to thank me.

Have you ever watched a cricket match? My wife uses that technique and it works every time.
