Don't think I've read it on here but Rotherham Titans have said they want to play at either Oakwell or Field Mill next season if they get promoted.
I'd say yes, but only if they pay a huge wad towards a new hybrid pitch, like the one Burnley have got. In fact, I'd be dribbling if we laid one whatever, even if it meant selling the Condiments Stations to help foot the bill. Three winters in a row now where pitches at our level have been pants and I know there are worse but anything to see fewer bobbles and more passes on the ground. Letting the Titans play on the pitch we've got will only make for a poorer spectacle for BFC fans and I pity our players.

If they're from Rotherham why don't they play at Rotherham's new stadium? Makes more sense, surely?

I don't think they could afford enough for me to want them to share. Our pitch at the moment even without Rugby looks so bad you could grow tatis on it.

we need to get our pitch sorted for football first, before we start playing rugby on it. it gets worse each season

The pitch as is couldn't take a rugby team playing on it. Predictions for climate change said we'd get much wetter winters, it's happening, if they're right and it continues we'll never be able to host both football and rugby without seriously destroying the pitch.

I don't know anything about hybrid pitches. If we installed one and playing rugby on it had no detrimental effect then I could see no reason for being against it. I would have thought they would have liked to play in Rotherham though.

Having been in millmoor twice in the last year it needs a hell of a lot of work such as new wiring. Rather sad but Millmoor won't open it's doors again, it'll just stand to rot for the next 30 years.
