Irrelevant. Butland's not here and was never coming back after the initial loan ended. Could we have brought another keeper in? Probably but other areas of the team needed cover more urgently IMO.
I don't think Steele is to blame today aside from conceding the penalty, he had other options and could have stopped on is feet. I'm not saying is a great keeper, but its not doing is confidence any good with people abusing him.
steele was *****,should have been off his line for the first goal after half time,but hesitated which in turn lead to the goal.As for the penalty,he'd more than enough time to get off his line and launch the ball into the stands,but instead decided to dive in like a pillock. he was rubbish,same as the other fcukin ten.

Steele's getting worse by the game. He's in a terrible run of form however Steele from the past few seasons is as good as the Butland we had before Christmas. Unfortunately since then Butland's got better & better but Steele's having a poor season
For the record it's the same reason I don't go to as many anymore... I use to go to every away game, but not been for weeks due to my asthma and the possibility of smoke bombs causing major health issues for me. Especially in a derby like this.
Steele looks nervous and doesn't inspire you with confidence any more. Does pull off some decent saves but is making too many mistakes as well...

Fans were impecibly behaved today, from what I saw. Also Steele was poor, but I have always believed him to be such and received abuse for it, no doubt someone will not agree, fair enough, but no one can tell me he wasn't crap today.
I didn't comment on his ability or how he had performed, I merely said that Scott was acting like hemsworth tyke with his childish lololololol posts slating Steele and I didn't comment on the fans at todays game but in EVERY away game ive ever been to there has been trouble from barnsley fans so I choose not to go anyomre
