Having said that I'm fully behind him but his stubbornness to change formation after abject displays is alienating any fan base he still has.

Danny's come in and had to throw a team together, it won't have easy to attract players so he had to do the best in the circumstances. Players that are going out on loan are for one reason or another not wanted by their current team so you take the gamble in Danny's case there wasn't enough time to plan ahead and put enough thought in it. He was then left with players in our squad that as the league table suggests are bottom three material throw all that together and I believe you can't expect anything other than mixed results and a slight chance of stopping up.

 

I honestly can't see how you can blame Frimpong. He can be in one position at a time.

Wilson's got major decisions wrong 80% of the time since coming back. Either starting 11 and subs or just one. Great.

 

Sorry but you can't blame anyone else for that formation or the Doncaster formation, subs at Hillsborough...........

But the point is if he picked the formation that you think we should play there will someone else saying he should have picked a more attacking team too negative and the Proschwitz situation I've answered already you take the best striker available and the terms he comes with.

 

Hemsworth your posts are often good, bad or completely absurd so I'll break this one down that way.

Good - I completely agree about Wilson. We should never have gone back there and was roundly lambasted by the vast majority of this board when I mentioned that prior to his appointment. A lot of the 'it's not his team' stuff is complete nonesense with the turn over of players. We are too slow, negative, poor defensively and some of the starting line ups and substitutions are, at times completely baffling. HOWEVER, I'll stick by him and show my support for the time being, that being said, going down with no heart and fight is not an option this bunch of bottling players should be allowed to take! It's not all Danny's fault but some of it is.

Bad - Constantly praising Frimpong is strange. So far he's had one good game for us. I want him to be a success just as much as the next man but at the moment he's not cutting it. Bashing Steele constantly is silly. He's a good goalkeeper regardless of what you think. If you use your own logic here he should be a world beater, Fergie took him to Man Utd after all.....

Absurd - Don't know why you feel the need to do this! 'Typical German' what utter utter tripe. I bet you stood up and cheered just as loud as anyone when the man with no heart scored at Donny twice or against Blackpool. Granted I don't think the lad puts himself about for a man of his height but to roundly group a whole nation up together as heartless and spineless is IMO clueless. Secondly, wanting our only keeper sent off is MADNESS. What other option do we have? The fat kid in the front of the Ponte has as much game time as Turner has for the last 3 years and Dibble isn't ready yet.

My posts quite passionate, I posted a little bit last night but stayed off for a long time because I didn't want to write something like that whilst really drunk.

My point on Frimpong, I honesly didn't see all this bad stuff. If he did then okay but I noticed THAT midfield and wasn't happy. When they got the confidence up we had little to stop them.

My points on protchitz are mild compared to some of the things i've heard and same goes with Steele.
