    I don't blame Frimpong for lacking quality and having a poor game it happens to the best of players. His lack of effort and his I'm better than you attitude with nothing to back it up was unforgivable. On that display I'd Rather Danny came out of retirement and play that role he would certainly run faster. Frimpong should be dropped until his attitude changes.

    It's a strange one because when you see the team on paper you have to wonder why we aren't picking up more wins and Danny must be just as perplexed by this as anyone.

    Football is not a complicated game and it sounded like yesterday, for the first twenty-five minutes, we were doing all the right things without being able to put the ball in the net. After which, there was something of a capitulation.

    I'm going to remain positive and put this down to being "one of those days", if we buck our ideas up at home then we have a fighting chance but a part of me is beginning to accept that our Championship stay, which to be honest has never really got going in 8 years, is over.

    I think Danny is still the right man to lead us in League One but I can see how people will be getting frustrated with him already - he was backed in January and completely reshaped the squad, yet he's barely done any better than Flitcroft.

    He deserves dropping Wayne. He's not good ENOUGH. We went from okay on loan the best (okay again only in my opinion) but one of the best if not the best goalkeeper in the league to Steele . Madness.

    He'll not be dropped so if he was sent off we could see Turner or Dibble Prefer Turner but it'd b nice to see something different.

    I agree that Butland is a better keeper but he's no longer with us.Not seen Dibble or Turner play so cant say they are any better then Steele.

    this is absolutely central to the problem. you refuse to budge on anything, once you've made your mind up. regardless of how blatantly wrong you are. you are the only person who is defending frimpong. the only person. this is a few days after you weirdly picked him in your 'Best XI since Promotion'

    you incessantly hammer your targets, even on the smallest thing. even when they're not actually playing. yet you defend absolute dross to the hilt. you make some good points, and i suspect people want to agree with you. but it makes it difficult, when they get lost in the absolute nonsense you come out with.

    Oh I agree, why on earth would we want q striker who knows where the net is. 4 goals in about 8 games isn't 'shockingly bad' I'm afraid. From the games I'veseen him play, he's worked his socks off, got into goalscoring positions, and looked dangerous, how many strikers have we had of that ilk in the past few years, not many.

    Yes but he's German, so he's rubbish.
    Wilson is from another era, so he was rubbish before we'd kicked a ball.
    Frimpong, however came from Arsenal, so is class, and on the occasions when he fails to contribute, (that's all bar one) or gets sent off, that's everyone else's fault.
    Don't come on here with your goal-every-other game ratio. He's German. He's crap.

    I said the exact same thing in a post yesterday, I don't say it lightly, but Frimpong put in probably the worse midfield performance Ive ever seen in a red shirt, it will surely go down in infamy along with the likes of Deon Burton's.
