Right mylife again has had a turn for the worse. Only a year ago my mum got told she had breast cancer, luckily for us she doing great, I mentioned then for people to get checked out. Well today my family been to visit for me to find out that my step-dad has mouth cancer. This is not a plead for people to feel sorry for me but a plead for people please check with your doctor if in doubt you have anything wrong you are worried about,
So sorry to hear that Kev, mate. Life has certainly dealt you & your family a pretty shitty hand these past few years. Hopefully, your Step Dad has caught this filthy, disgusting illness quickly enough and recovers as well as your Mum. All the best, old mate, to you & your family.
Sorry to hear that but look on the bright side. If there's one family that knows that cancer can be beaten then its yours and that kind of positive thinking can make a big difference so your stepdad has everything in his favour
Cheers guys, just goes to show. It's doesn't matter if your rich, poor, fit, unhealthy (to a certain extent) Cancer doesn't give a **** who you are. Please enjoy you life, it's short enough and it's not a practice run.
Keep your chin up Kev lad, whenever you feel down in the dumps just take a look at your young'un and be thankful for the good things
The thing is that scares me the most, can't image the thought if it happening to me as leaving my beautiful boys
Try not to think like that pal, chins up and cherish every day. Keep a smile on yer face, about the only thing that isn't taxed these days
