Read three threads and the b.llocks being spouted about Mr Wilson is right up there in the echelons of BBS ********. Bad result. Awful performance by the sounds but if we're now laying all our problems of the last 3 or 4 years at Mr Wilson's door after he's been here 10 weeks then we really are losing it.
Absolutely nailed on. Some bottle-less jockeys on here. Asking for bottle from our players then go bairning and crying at the first sign of it going wrong. Spineless.
You've gotta accept short-term angry debates after such a spineless display. In my opinion, BFC have made some appalling decisions at Manager and club policy level, ever since we returned to the Championship. The list is a mile long. I still believe Danny was the best option open to us at the time, but his 10 week start hasn't been particularly impressive and some of the decisions he has made, tactically and player selection, are baffling to a lot of fans.
"In my opinion, BFC have made some appalling decisions at Manager and club policy level" Key. And yet its always the managers fault.
I'm not quite sure what people expected. He took over a team with two wins all season. We were *****. He took over a massive squad, overpaid, comfortable and not giving a **** about anything other than their mate. He's not only had to try and reshape a squad in January he's had to work with a support staff that are very close to the old regime. In other words, he's pissing in the wind until he can put his stamp on it next year. He's done things I wouldn't have expected but he's also brought in a striker who's scoring goals pretty regularly, got us scoring goals and looking more of a threat (Saturday apart seemingly) and he's picked up more points per game than Flitcroft with his squad (barring a couple of freebies and loans). Awful result but the reaction is just f.cking mindblowing. Mind blowing.
Mine was pretty good, but... ...it would have been loads better if I'd gone to the match, spent £25 seeing us get absolutely bum-buggered by a mediocre side that had only scored 2 goals in their last 5 league games, got the V's from one of the worst loan players we have ever had, got my head kicked in on the station by a load of Joseph John Deacon's and then got arrested. That'll teach me for missing an away match.
We are not doing well and On Saturday I wanted to go on a murder spree. But this is the cumulative effect of recent events. The squad we started with finished 4th bottom last season after a (temporary) burst of good form and a once in a lifetime finish to a season. Over another 46 game season this is the result. League 1 fills me with dread but I think that's where we'll end up, and provided the man at the top sticks with Wilson then I've every confidence we'll come back. IF we stop up then the rhetoric we've been hearing since Robins left will have to be matched with actions. No more reliance on loans, instead an investment in Academy youth and Championship quality players.
Short term thinking brings long term b.llocks. Championship at all costs attitudes means it gets even less likely that we'll play in this league year on year. Wilson has taken over a shower of **** both in set up and from a playing perspective. From what I've heard, no better man to sort it out. If he's allowed. I've seen enough to know he knows what he's doing but I don't need ten weeks to decide that, his record speaks for itself regardless of how people try and twist it. Wonder if Jon Lucas will be seeing a lot more of Bury playing next year.
