Re: if you ever want to hear any kind of Bigotry.. for whatever theme Barnsley fans have said nasty things, no doubt and thats why i rarely say anything. When England teams go to Wales can they sing the bombers song?
my season ticket before I could no longer justify it was on the ponty... if you were to look at the ponty from the pitch then I was up in the top right corner towards the floodlight. There were two guys there who were so obviously brothers as they looked so alike... their language was abysmal.. racism was the tip of the ice berg ... every 'Ism' ' Phobia' they had in bucket loads.. people around would ask them to calm down in the first... and then really try to tell them to behave... they rounded upon each and everyone telling them to **** off... or take yer stupid kid away ... the stewards did nowt about any complaints at all.
Re: if you ever want to hear any kind of Bigotry.. for whatever theme I must have missed that war in my history class.

Re: if you ever want to hear any kind of Bigotry.. for whatever theme I remember Barnsley fans singing it at ninian parkand thats why i said that. The Barnsley fans emphasised the ENGLISH in the song. I was been careful, some on here go ott over my comments.
Re: if you ever want to hear any kind of Bigotry.. for whatever theme I never said it was acceptable im saying scottish football has a far bigger problem than the fl and prem league
I've not heard much racist abuse from our fans for a long time but I used to hear it regularly when JCR, Moore & Odejayi were at the club
Re: if you ever want to hear any kind of Bigotry.. for whatever theme Sing it to us then. Is it similar to going loco down in Acapulco?
I'd say it's a lot different. I think one of the best ways to take the bite out of a racist term is for the race to reclaim it. It helps take the bite out of it. Whilst this may help reduce the hurtfulness of the word in the long run, it will still have racist connotations when said by a white person due to the long history of it being used as a racist term. Plus I don't understand - why would a white person ever need to use the word n*gger or p*ki rather than black or Asian unless they were wanting to be offensive/derogatory?
Whilst Paki is racist it's actually a lot more specific than Asian which covers a multitude of races and countries and is way too general, we need an acceptable alternative, I gather Pak is the correct term.
Re: if you ever want to hear any kind of Bigotry.. for whatever theme anti-semitism in scottish football. a new one on me.
