£50million fine on the way http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...argo-after-revealing-huge-losses-9173772.html I bet this FPP thingy ends up in the bin
What hope is there for clubs like us who try and do it the right way. Its ridiculous. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
'Arry fcuks another club up. I hate these greedy bstards that think just throwing obscene amounts of money at football is the answer.
I've almost given up. I only bought my season ticket for this season at the last minute. Could be my last, the football authorities have totally lost any semblance of a plot they may once have had. My 23 for the WC? I would flush all the money men owners, foreign or not, down the WC. Then get back to playing football.
Their fault for employing Redknapp. Anyone can manage like him by spending millions of the owners money on high priced players. He is a manager in the Championship and has blown millions to get out and is going to fail. Would it not be nice if our final game means we need to win to stop up, and he needs to beat us to go up. Then the finale is we win.
Not sure what this obsession with posting other peoples financial figures as come from. QPR's another club. Those figures aren't even relevant to the current squad anyway. And surely the only people that would need to worry about them are Tony Fernandes and the Mittal family. Tony Fernandes as a wealth of about $625 million Dollar rising Mittal Family have a cool $16 Billion plus net worth. So stop telling some of the worlds leading business people how to do business.
It would still be almost as sweet if we were already down and didn't even need to beat them but we did. Poetic justice, foiled by a relegated team who DO operate within their means.
Well, firstly they are relevant both to QPR's current predicament as well as an interesting contrast to our own situation. If nothing else, it demonstrates how uneven the playing field is when it comes to Championship football. Secondly, we're not talking about Fernandes or Mittal's personal wealth or debt. This is QPR football club. Plenty of wealthy business men have jumped from sinking ships without doing any damage to their own finances. Meanwhile, the football club, its fans and creditors are ballaxed.
You purposely post the diametrically opposed viewpoint - to the majority - on any given subject, don't you? You must do, because nobody is this ******* stupid. Surely?
I'm not so i'll not be telling Mittal family or Fernandes how to do Business that would be just stupid like anyone on here. I'm sure TF will be coming on here also for business advice about Caterham the F1 team. Also one of is other Businesses as the award of best in the world in it's class. It's class is Low cost airlines but I'm sure some on here will still be telling him how to suck eggs.
Errrrr.......we are talking about QPR, £177million in debt, £65million loss last season. If you think that shows good business prowess then there's no point in me debating the issue any further. There are plenty of good business people on here, together with their support network like accountants and solicitors. I wonder what they think about the goings on at football clubs?
QPR is owned 1/3 2/3 ish 2/3 TF 1/3 or 34% Mittal group. QPR isn't in Danger. If theres such good business people on here maybe they could help the club match the success levels of QPR
I work for Morrisons. I'm a machine operative and baker now. It's a very skilled job and Morrisons is a huge company and brand throughout the UK. They're about to go into online shopping (the last of the big supermarkets to do so). Exciting times. Especially for my wallet (eventually). Mr Morrison started this 'business' as a market stall holder in Bradford. Unreal what folk can achieve with hard work and dedication etc. But you're right, Phil. Despite all this, I'm no businessman myself. And I wouldn't tell Mr Mittal or Fernandes how to operate. But nobody in this thread was trying to do as you suggested, nobody was telling them how to do business. We were just commenting on how obscene the losses/debt were. Only a ******* jobless moron with no life experiences would suggest otherwise.
What success levels? They got relegated! And I've given up arguing on the business issues, my keyboard is worn enough as it is.
Whitey during the last month we've had the same groupish of people telling the likes of Nottingham Forest QPR MAnchester united Manchester City so on about business. All of them are owned by a people who all have a billion dollar plus.
If anyone thinks what QPR and the owners have done is right for football then that is really ******* idiotic. Really helps clubs like Barnsley doesn't it?
