    it's nothing.

he was able to get two hands to it and push it away.

Like I said, he should be making those saves easily every week.

He kept his concentration in the 90th minute and made a good save. He kept a clean sheet. What more can he do? How about give him just a tiny bit of credit, every now and again. It won't kill you.

Bobby Hassell thought it was a great save.

If Butland had made it, you wouldn't shut up about it

Okay Hemsie, I'll agree with you. In the context of Luke's fantastic career at Oakwell, it's not all that. In fact, for someone of Luke's ability, it's average. There, happy?

People are talking about this save like it was brilliant.

It wouldn't even get in to the top 7/8 saves Lillis made on Friday night for Rochdale.

So I should be giving him credit for keeping concentration for 90 minutes, wtf. He should always do that.

I thought Hassell was probably man of the match myself... though Steele ran him a close second. Much better without mr Frimpong in the side.

If you stop up a bit longer you'll be able to watch Jack Butt Land bend over 5times to pick the ball out of the net ;)

Absolute nightmare for Butland today. He'll be holding his hands up for 4 of those.

As I said before, what more can he do??????? I wish every Barnsley player could keep his concentration for 90 minutes! Your mate Frimpong can't seem to keep his concentration for 5 minutes, hence getting booked pretty much every time he plays.

Seriously, having a go at Steele today is ridiculous - admittedly he didn't have to do anything super-special today, but he KEPT A CLEAN SHEET. Give him some credit, Hemmsy. You don't do yourself any favours with this constant and totally unwarranted criticism. Jeez.

They had a free kick 1 yard outside the box and their guy put the balll right in the top corner. Looked a pretty good save to me.
Quite often that kick would have gone in with the keeper nowhere near it

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Butland could have done it with his eyes closed. And Foster. And Forster. In fact, anyone with a goalkeeping skill over 67 and pace over 72 could have done it.

he kept a clean sheet but had little to do yes.

Should he have done things, yes.
Just three off the top of my head.
Got beat at the front post. He got so lucky it hit the post.
Mackie headed the ball 6 yard out, 6ft high. Steele should be coming and punching
doesn't comment his area, ever. On one occasion the defence was so deep and he never opens his mouth. This happens every game with him.
On commanding the area, he didn't come out and collect a ball 8 yards out. Simply got to do better.

Agree. Any other goalie would have put 6 in the wall and never seen it coming. The quality is Steele's absolute control of a dangerous situation.
