Am I the only one who thought that when he came on he looked constantly so far out of any recognised position and so out of touch with what his team mates were thinking that he could very possibly have been an Emmanuel Frimpong lookalike by Arsenal, who is in fact not a professional football but a bus driver who they found in the club car park one day?
You must be mistaken because Emmanuel Frimpong is one of the top 11 players to have played for us since we got promoted. He's class. He used to play for Arsenal you know.
Yet again we sat deep late in second half and invited them to attack. Frimpong came on and did a job... The lad got stuck in, broke up play and Cleared our lines... Apart from debut, and hudds when no player came out with any credit... He's done ok. Especially for a player who has played very little football... At begining of the season Jennings was in a similar position I.e. Short of game time, match fitness, confidence, had a red card debut and got stick from fans due to high expectation... Give the lad a break. Look at Jennings now! I'm more concerned about brek Shea and Liam Lawrence's form both look miles off. Finally big shout for Kennedy yesterday, not a fan if I'm honest but the lad did well. His best game in a reds shirt IMHO
There are more people wanting to blindly hate him because of his personal life and coming from Arsenal than wanting to blindly love him Definitely true based on what I hear at matches Bit pathetic really I much prefer those who see him as a great player because at least its positive rather than smugly banging on about how he's *****
I really, desperately want him to be brilliant. However, I thought he was one of the main reasons for us sitting too deep in the closing stages and inviting pressure on us, causing me and countless others a near coronary.
