for those of you who don't know, leicestershire were equally as bad,if not worse than notts during the strike.Absolutely full of scabs and traitors to their fellow union men. scabby basterds.
Thanks for that information. Bit more interested in the fact that my football team are playing one sitting at the top of the league and that it might be just as tense and exciting as it was on Saturday. That's all that matters tonight
Saturday's brilliant atmosphere had the bit extra due to the loathing of the Nottinghamshire miners. Never been a miner myself but their action destroyed vast communities in this area. If Leicester did the same then they deserve the same hostile recpetion
If Scargill had given them a ballot no doubt they would have come out on strike as well, I blame no-one but that egotistical pillock.
Hero-worshipping the man who led the miners to ruin, you couldn't make it up. All he cared about was himself, his ego and money, as he's subsequently shown.
Tits I think you will find that maggie ruined the mining industry Just wait till russia turns the screws World gas price will soar , our utility bills will rise 10% + good old maggie eh
I am not young .. and I say move on too its fookin pathetic, we lost to a superior side, the mining strike is nowt to do with how ***** we are now. Oh and before you start MadMark.. my Dad WAS a miner... and almost lost his life due to a cave in , My Grandad was a a Miner and he died due to his lungs. and many of my family were miners too. But we all have moved on and also realised that the biggest lovely person who really damaged the miners was a bloke called Scargill.
so nothing at all to do with a huge egotist called Scargill then you really show your stupidity at times.
class traitor OMG now you are really really showing your mentality.... no really you are pathetic. Why not go and attend your ferrets , muck out the whippet and go and buy a new flat cap honestly seriously pathetic.
Dragon You are ex forces Always voted right wing Scargill ? Bearing in mind he did not have a vote on the num committee and did not set policy (that is/was set at branch level) how do you blame him Ps a lack of education is no excuse
never once voted labour as I saw through their nonsense very early doors, and how they have mislead the poor suckers they say they represent.... no party ever has or will represent the lower classes, they are all in it just for themselves, its that simple.
